Ty'r Gof Barn is a pet friendly, beautifully renovated Blacksmith's Barn, in the centre of the pretty village of Llangernyw, in the heart of the Elwy Valley. The house is a short stagger from the award winning Old Stag pub and the village shop. Close to the Snowdonia National Park and the coast, both are a 20 minute drive away. Ideally situated for all the attractions North Wales has to offer, including ZipWorld, Surf Snowdonia, Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy, Llandudno, Betws Y Coed and much more.

Cottage annex is all yours & we would encourage you to relax in our garden which is filled with treeferns. The garden has been featured on BBC Gardeners World & is frequently on Welsh tv ‘Garddio a Mwy’. Large garden and hot tub, stay in and relax or venture to the coast or up to the mountains! All within half an hours drive.

Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Explore country lanes from the doorstep or we are only a mile from the sea and a welcoming base to explore North Wales from or just stay in and relax.

The garden is private and screened form the main house, so you can dine alfresco or relax in the hot tub in privacy.
