very nice and friendly service place was beautiful but could use a oven. stunning walks near by and 30 mins drive from lock Ness and other places to view local shop had most things needed. dog friendly clean and tidy and very helpful host

What a fantastic place. We wanted somewhere to stay where we could make use of our paddle board & kayak and this was the perfect venue. Easy access to a fantastic quiet loch to enjoy the scenery. The hot tub & sauna were a very welcome treat after a day on the loch. Great location for exploring the highlands with Ben Nevis only 15 minutes away. The accommodation was excellent with absolutely everything you could need, from a lovely Scottish breakfast pack to gorgeous toiletries. The added bonus for us as a family was use the of BBQ hut. Would highly recommend and I’m sure we will be back.

We especially enjoyed the stunning views of the Isle each evening and relaxing in the hot tub after long days of hiking. The entire experience was seamless and stress-free. Despite having neighboring houses, the place felt private and peaceful—a perfect retreat in nature.

Lovely little lodge. Well equipped. Clean. Right next to the loch my girls spent hours playing on the paddleboard and hopping in the hot tub. The host even let us in earlier than we should have to accommodate miserable weather. Very accomodating and friendly Would definitely recommend

Spacious, clean and well equipped for the two of us. Great location to use as a base for exploring Glen Affric. Good outdoor space and bike facilities very good including a hose. Vince was very friendly and helpful.

The 1 Island Cabins was in a great location with parking on site. It was a cosy comfortable place to say for 4 nights. The Isle of Mull is a wonderful spot to explore. I can recommend Vanessa's place I would stay there again.

First class accommodation. Cottage was spacious and spotless! Host met us at the property, showed us round and passed on lots of local recommendations. We took advantage of the Romanian wine recommendation- it was lovely!! Will definitely be back!!

We stayed here for a family get together with 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The area in newtonmore is so lovely, quiet and so many beautiful walks nearby. You are a five minute walk from beautiful Scottish landscapes. The kids had so much fun finding the wildcats around the town. The house was lovely and spacious- much bigger than we thought because of the photos. Museum was also in walking distance which is free (just asked for donations). The house was very clean and had all amenities we needed along with lots of board games and DVDs. The TV has been upgraded since the photos also. Mark was responsive to messages and sorted anything we asked for. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we will 100% be back. Thanks again☺️
