Make a silver ring with The Ringsmiths at Oxo Tower Wharf
Come and enjoy this hands on 2.5 hour workshop getting creative and jewellery making. Craft your very own hammered sterling silver ring, whether as a gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. Hosted by The Ringsmiths, a team of jewellers who all currently run their successful individual brands as well as teaching jewellery. They will guide you through the process of making a ring using traditional goldsmithing techniques such as annealing, forging, soldering, and filing to name but a few. In this workshop you will have the option of making either a wide hammered band or two fine hammered stacking rings (as pictured). Over the course of the class you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your newfound skills. Using a range of tools needed to make your ring, as demonstrated by The Ringsmiths throughout. We also offer gold plating at an additional cost. The plating can be requested at the end of the class. Please note these services have a lead time of 2-3 weeks. Other things to note With a maximum of eight people in any one session, you can rest assured that there’ll be plenty of opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the jewellers.
Explore Harry Potter's London Tour
Join me as we venture into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! On this walking tour of London's streets we will watch clips from the movies while I regale you with behind-the-scenes stories of those locations and how they were used in the film series. Our first stop will be the entrance to Diagon Alley, before we pop down to see the Ministry of Magic, and find out which Leaky Cauldron has the best tacos, as well as others I don't want to spoil here. I will also share some of the strangest, funniest non-HP facts I've learned about London along the way. We will finish at Borough Market, London's top street food destination, with King's Cross just a separate Tube ride away. PLEASE be aware the tour is offered in English only, and it is largely story-based, so a better-than-basic conversational grasp of English is essential. While witches and wizards of all ages are welcome, due to the amount of walking and the content, I more recommend it for ages 11+. Strictly one person per slot. No exceptions. Step-free route for wheelchairs available This London street walking tour is not affiliated with the WB Studio Tour at Watford. Other things to note Every person (over 11yo) will need an Oyster card or contactless payment method with at least £2.40. The tour contains about 90 minutes of brisk walking so make sure little legs are up for that!

Speedboat through the heart of London
See many of the city's greatest sights the way they were meant to be seen - from the river, on board the Thames' biggest speedboat, fitted with suspension seating. You'll be welcomed at Tower Bridge Quay by your expert skipper and a personal tour guide for lifejackets and a safety briefing. The sound-system will be fired up with great British tunes and we'll cruise down to Tower Bridge for the best of all selfies. Then hold tight as we take you on a 10 mile high-speed blast to the O2 Arena and back to Tower. Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs including one that claims to be the most haunted in London! Other things to note Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID. N.B. Discover London's Canals by Kayak
When you arrive at The Pirate Castle, you'll meet your instructor guide and be given a buoyancy aid to put on. We'll then give a short safety talk and show you the basics on how to use your paddle and control your kayak. You'll get into your boat (we'll help if you're wobbly!) and once everyone in the group's on the water we'll practise some basic paddle strokes before heading off on a gentle tour that weaves along the prettiest stretch of the Regent's Canal towards London Zoo, then back to Camden's famous lock and The Pirate Castle. This experience is 1.5 hours long (including kitting up/briefings). All tours depart from/return to The Pirate Castle. The pace and distance travelled will vary for each tour as your instructor guide needs to keep all members of the group together for safety. Novices and more experienced paddlers welcome! Our kayaks are suitable for weights up to 110Kg. Canoes are available for paddlers up to 300Kg or two people wishing to paddle together. Please wear something comfy for kayaking that you don't mind getting splashed. You must also need wear suitable footwear (old trainers or securely fitting sandals). NO SWIMWEAR, FLIP-FLOPS or CROCS! Kayaking is a watersport, so we'll go ahead even if it's raining. We only cancel tours in the event of thunder and lightning due to potential risks, in which case we'll discuss available options.
London Pottery Workshop
This is a relaxed pottery workshop, giving you a crash course introduction to pottery. Perfect for anyone who is curious about pottery or want to try something new! No prior experience required, all level welcomed. The workshop is a three-hour crash course introduction to pottery where you will learn how to work with the clay and gain basic pottery skills. The tutor will start the workshop by demonstrating different hand-building and throwing on the wheel techniques you will be learning and applying. During the workshop you are welcome to play and experiment with the clay as much as you like. You will be creating something handmade that is truly personal and unique that is made by you. Make some enjoyable memories ( maybe even the scene from ghost ) ! You are welcome to play and experiment as much as you like! Max group class size = 10 In light of the current COVID-19 please be aware of the health and safety guild-lines. The studio is fully sanitised and cleaned before and after the workshop. Two English classics come together in this workshop and teatime with London’s leading taxidermist, Suzette Field. You’ll learn the art and science of preparing, preserving, and mounting—all the basics of taxidermy. Then, you’ll try it yourself (don’t worry, all the subjects have been ethically sourced—reptile food, pest control or roadkill). Choose to leave your handiwork au naturel or dress it up to create a souvenir worthy of a prime spot on your mantlepiece. Students will have a choice between mouse, rat, guinea pig or mole. COVID-19 UPDATE - Classes are now running and are Covid-19 secure. They are now limited to 2 individuals or 2 groups of people from shared households in order to remain Covid-19 secure. Lunch will also no longer be included until we feel it is safe to do so. Other things to note If you live outside the UK, you'll still be able to take your taxidermy creation home with you. Natural Lipstick Making Workshop
Well, at Token studio, you can attend London’s very first lipstick making workshop, with edible, natural ingredients - you will never have to worry about what’s on your lips! How the course is run: During this workshop, you will be using completely natural ingredients, creating your very own lipsticks from scratch. Then Jing will also help you to explore and create your personal colour to match your skin. There will be a whole range of colours to choose from, including metallic, matte, and glitter. You will be guided through the different types of wax, introduced to all the equipment, melting the wax, selecting the colour, and moulding the lipstick. The lipsticks or lip balms that you create will also be perfect for moisturising your lips to protect you from those upcoming cold winter days. This workshop can roughly last between 60 minutes to 90 minutes. IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the workshop is scheduled to start at its scheduled time. Any lateness by 5 minutes will result in rescheduling by the studio with a cost of £10 per person. Lateness can be highly disruptive to other people attending the class as well as the studio. See 15+ Royal London Sights & Visit Buckingham Palace! Fun local guide. I will guide you on an exploration of London’s Royal landmarks. This will give you a good idea of the history, culture & legends of the world's best-loved Monarchy. After the walking tour, we then head to Buckingham Palace where you will enter the Queens Royal Residence and visit the State Rooms! We will head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, where we'll watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (daily during the summer months). After witnessing this traditional ritual, we'll head to Westminster. Sights we'll see along the way include Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, Horse Guard Parade, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Our last stop in Westminster is Parliament Square where we will gaze upon the largest of all the Royal Palaces: The Palace of Westminster. Music walking tour of London's Soho
All groups will meet at the top of exit 3 at Tottenham Court Road underground station and go on a 2 hour walking tour of Soho. Along the way we shall visit the famous street where the Rolling stones recorded their first album and David Bowie lived in a caravan. We’ll see where the Sex Pistols squatted, not forgetting where Elton John got his first ever job as a tea boy! Moving on to the venue that Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles, took over and put on the legendary Jimi Hendrix one fateful night in 1967! It's then onto Soho square where you will learn how Charles II had an impact on pubs and drinking alcohol ! See where Paul McCartneys business headquarters are. See where Prince played 2 secret gigs in one night and even see where a young Mozart lived. British RocknRoll began at this coffee bar which is just round the corner to arguably the most famous of London music venues. Not forgetting one of Londons famous music venues, where nearly every major artist has played! We have been making river tables, pouring live edge epoxy pieces, and using resin long enough that it is time to share all of the secrets with you. Following back streets and dedicated bike lanes, you'll ride from Big Ben past Westminster Abbey and up to Buckingham Palace, the home of the Queen, where we'll see the Royal Guards in their dapper uniforms. (Changing of the Guard days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays) You'll coast along (London is very flat!) at an easy-going pace, stopping regularly to hear fun facts and some quirky historical tales. There's time to take photos too! We'll then take a break to enjoy a pint of beer at a cosy historic pub where you can get to know your fellow travellers. Lastly, you'll have a chance to try street art in Banksy's graffiti tunnel (and we provide spray paint!). We've designed this route to give you the best introduction to London.
