Thanks for having us! The view is amazing. Pool is clean and cool with floaties. Jacuzzi is great. Peaceful location and easy walk to restaurants and stores. Go to Alabama Hills daily easily and still close enough to go to Death Valley for a day trip. Whitney portal road sadly closed for winter. Backyard has great views and the plants are cool. Lots of space inside with two bedrooms with a queen bed, and two living rooms with a tall twin with a pull out trundle twin bed. Jennifer easily reached and responsive. Some house noise at night (random pop or water sound) but otherwise felt at home.

Overall, i had a great stay. The house is clean. Instructions were clear. Troy was very hospitable and responsive. 10/10 experience. Would love to stay here again next time I’m in town.

Stayed here with a large group of people for my wedding. Plenty of room for us all and super fun with the pool and hot tub. My group can be a little loud but we never got any complaints that I know of and that was nice. Super nice area of Bakersfield to be in

This is our second time staying with Don. It is a wonderful place. The pool is amazing and warm for us freeze babies. Don was always responsive. The only down side was the shower pressure was to hard.

The house was really nice and the beds were very comfy. The fireplace and the family friendly environment was the best part.

This is the best to place to stay if you’re in or near Porterville!

I am so thankful and blessed to have found an air bnb in Taft. My sister and the rest of the family were just down the street. We came out for a wedding and needed a private relaxing retreat for our family after long days of visiting. This place was perfect!! Wendy was so kind and responded quickly to all of my questions. This was my first Airbnb stay. Something about the photos online stood out and said “Book me!” This home was just what I was looking for! Cozy and quiet. I can’t say enough good things about Greg and Tamara, they were super responsive and were always willing to help with anything. I’m in the area for work and I loved this place so much I ended up booking it for the next year! Thank you Greg and Tamara for being so AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alfonso was a great host! He graciously opened his home to a crew of men that were working on a construction project near by. We are very appreciative Alfonso for letting use use his home for the last several months. If they guys needed anything he was responsive and helpful! If we ever have another job in the area we will definitely reach out again to book this house.

BEAUTIFUL home in quiet neighborhood.Close to fwy & many businesses.The area to get to it is not the nicest looking but the closer you get to it ,the better it is. The house is also close to the "bluffs" which is a nice cliff overlooking the surrounding city. The cooling/heating system works wonderfully and fast !!The system is a little loud,can feel a subtle vibration when laying in the main bedroom bed.Beds feel like pillowtop, not too firm and not super soft soft, supportive. The rooms do have dark curtains but they are not blackout ones. It was clean for most part, only small things were noticeable but nothing that would bother me or affect how I feel about staying here again in the future.The coffee machine might be a regular one, not for pods. I didnt use it but my son said there was bagged grounds.The front door does get stuck. It is heavy wood and needs 2 keys to get in.I stayed for 3 days and would def stay here again because it was really comfortable & convenient.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! This house was absolutely beautiful—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated. The highlight for us was the backyard—it felt like our own private oasis! The hot tub was amazing, especially in the evenings under the stars. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the check-in process was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend and would definitely stay agai

Raymond and his wife are excellent hosts 10/10 recommended. Extremely welcoming, very proactive in communicating, beautiful home, and most of all great people. I’d advise any future travelers to choose them first!

Another GREAT stay at my favorite mountain retreat! If you want to see stars at night to the sounds of a creek, frogs and insects...you will LOVE it here too. In nature with no sounds of the city. The host Barbara, is always accommodating and super friendly. Will be back soon..

This is our second time staying here and like the first time we had a wonderful time. Our family enjoyed the time together in this beautiful place. Looking forward to coming back.

Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. We arrived late at night (around 10–12 PM) and let the host know in advance—they were very accommodating, which we appreciated, especially since it's a residential area. The instructions were clear, and everything went exactly as described. The house was spotless and absolutely beautiful—very comfortable and welcoming. The host allowed us to have guests visit, which was a nice bonus. They were also extremely responsive any time I had a question. Another big plus was that the host allowed us a late check-out for a small additional fee. This was incredibly helpful, as we were in town for a soccer tournament and the original check-out time conflicted with game schedules. Overall, the home was well worth what we paid. The hosts were wonderful, and the entire experience was great. Thank you for having us! I would definitely recommend this property and would happily rent again. 10/10!

This was a great place for me & my family to stay while we visited Yosemite, Sequoia, and King’s Canyon National Parks. The view from the deck was phenomenal and very Zen.

This home is a great setup for groups of friends or multiple families. We enjoyed using the large common spaces and had privacy when we needed it. We appreciated that each room had a king bed and dedicated bathroom. The creek is so peaceful and is right out the back door, and there were horses grazing across the small road. The location is ideal— close to town and the park entrance. The team was responsive and hospitable.

Michelle’s place was perfect. We had our family for Thanksgiving, and it totally served the purpose. It was as if we lived there. We had absolutely everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and served as a perfect backdrop for our family photo. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay—great location with a good distance to both the park and the town. The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Jamie was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. There were also some nice walking opportunities around the property for the days we weren’t visiting the Sequoias, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!
