From this central location, explore island beaches and wooded island trails. Outdoor fire pit & firewood, cozy warm heater inside the yurt. Fan for summertime. Solar lights inside and out, beefy battery for electronics. Internet. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: stovetop, fridge, sink, water. The host will provide transport from the ferry to/from the yurt.

Walk to Long Sands Beach - we are 0.4 miles from the beach, about a 7 minute walk. July/August are 7-day Sat to Sat only rentals. BYO Linens and Towels. Cottage is on a charming unpaved road in a quiet neighborhood of small 1950's vintage seasonal cottages. Walking distance to downtown York Beach which has a zoo, restaurants, penny arcade and fun shops. There is a rolling beach cart and two beach chairs available for your use. We strive to offer a thoughtful balance between modern amenities and a natural setting. This space is perfect for two guests, with a maximum of four who are comfortable sharing tiny accommodations. We are pet friendly for an additional fee - one dog maximum per reservation.
