Our team always enjoys staying at Chris’ home while traveling for business.

We had a great time. The place was well-located on a quiet road, within a 10-15 minute drive to downtown New Iberia and just a bit farther to Avery Island. The house was well-equipped and very comfortable.

It’s was a blast as always. We caught plenty of fish (I caught the biggest catfish)😂😂. We love David’s place. The had everything we need to cook. Nice peaceful quiet place. I would recommend anybody to go visit his place. Just take care of his place and you will have a great time.

We absolutely loved our stay. Never have to leave the property to find anything else to do....They have it all. We will be back!

I had the bachelorette weekend of my dreams in NOLA at The Dragonfly Inn. The house is perfect and Lore is such an amazing host. I can’t wait to come back!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

I cannot praise John and Karen enough for their hosting of us as guests in their charming home. When weather threatened to upset up my daughter’s wedding departure plans, John and Karen not only saved the day, but made it better than we ever could have imagined by decorating their boat and picking up the newlyweds from Abita Roasting!!! Their kindness and generosity blessed our family greatly! Their home is comfortable and equipped with everything you could need, and it is located close to several wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, and I sincerely hope you get to spend some time with John and Karen!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We had a great stay. Nice little back porch and the studio was comfortable. I might’ve wanted a little more kitchen stuff but we only made eggs in the morning. It was fine for us but the shower tub is challenging to get in and out of. It would be hard for somebody with balance problems or a bad knee or hip.

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

We loved the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place. It was the perfect place to come home to after a hectic day. My sister being from up north was thrilled to see the local wild life. We will definitely be back!!

Nautical Escape was a very pleasant surprise. We were lucky to have cool sunny weather. My grandkids had a great time playing outside. It was very clean and had the supplies we needed. Nice linens wonderful towels. My only regret is not bringing something to grill on the nice big outside grill. I’m sure we will rent it again.

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of space inside and outside. They had a stocked kitchen with everything we needed.

This was a great stay. It was a surgery and recovery for me so could not take advantage of everything! Such a cute place that has everything you could possibly need. Has lots of nearby restaurants. Erik and Haley were very responsive and friendly! Would 💯 stay again. This is also a terrific place if you bring your dog!🐶

We had such a wonderful experience at this location! The pictures truly don't do justice to the beauty of the place. It's even more breathtaking in person. The house was perfect, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Kayaking, fishing, sunsets, fire pit and more…everything was amazing and as advertised! Mary was very helpful. She greeted us with cookies upon arrival to show us around the property and how to use the boat launch. Had a blast making memories with my kids!

We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

Good communicate, clear instructions, great view and great inlet location 2-3 ft water tons of cypress trees, kayaking was a blast, good fishing areas, cabin is small, but it's newer, clean, and nice quality. Solid place to stay.

Really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area. We’re very thankful we were able to spend time in the cabin.

I don’t often leave a review, or want to necessarily go back to a specific Airbnb. But I would absolutely stay again sometime. All ages had a good time. The kayaks were fun. We fished, grilled, played darts and such. It did rain pretty hard for part of our stay but we hung out under the covered areas until it passed over. It was very relaxing out there. Plenty of places to sleep. Lots of nice little details. If you are looking for a river camp experience look no farther. This is the spot.

Will's little private getaway house was absolutely beautiful. The house was gorgeous with a stunning kitchen and very comfortable beds. Felt very comfortable and very clean. The property had so much to offer on it, the front yard and porch overlooking the lake was quite and peaceful, as well as a fire pit. It was so nice that they had their own private beach with clear water for our dog to hop around in that was a short hike from the house. Location was an hour from NOLA and felt private and remote but also close enough to town for anything you'd need. We even got ubereats delivery. We will be staying here again for sure!
