Feel at home in our vacation apartment with its unique, historic atmosphere. Irmelshausen Castle is a Renaissance castle with a "Sleeping Beauty" feel, located in the heart of Germany. We offer you our Forester's Residence in the historic keep. It has approximately 90 square meters and includes a kitchen, shower room, living and dining room. It is located on the ground floor and is accessible via four steps. The Yellow Room and the Forester's Room are furnished with double beds measuring 160x210cm and 140x200cm, respectively. The sandstone slabs in the hallway are uneven, and the paving in the courtyard is irregular. In the courtyard, you will find a lounge area, a large table for 14 people, a gas grill, and a fire pit for warm evenings. Guests are welcome to use the park, which features another teak table with 8 seats, a playhouse with a swing and slide, a sandbox, and a trampoline. Our newly renovated kitchen includes a refrigerator with a 3-star freezer compartment, a stove with a ceramic cooktop, and an oven. The high-quality bathroom with shower and toilet is designed for seniors and includes a bench. Hand and bath towels, a hairdryer, and ample storage space are provided.

Beste gasten, Het Wasserschloss ligt aan de rand van Irmelshausen, een typisch Franckisch dorp met kerk, kasteel en vakwerkhuizen in de Öko-Modellregion Rhön-Grabfeld. Het appartement is ideaal voor families, groepen en seminars. Het is ingericht met antiek meubilair en heeft een exclusieve, elegante sfeer. Omdat het kasteel meer dan 500 jaar oud is, ervaart u geen nieuwbouwnormen, maar de charme van oude muren. Wie dit waardeert, zal zich hier thuis voelen! Voel u thuis in ons vakantieappartement met een unieke en exclusieve ambiance. We bieden onze Bel Étage woning aan in de historische verdedigingstoren, ongeveer 200 m² groot en gelegen op de tweede verdieping. Er zijn twee grote master bedrooms (180x200 & 200x200) in suite-stijl, waar babybedjes toegevoegd kunnen worden, plus twee slaapkamers van ca. 24 m² met een kingsize bed (180x200) en een groot eenpersoonsbed (120x200). Daarnaast een ruime keuken, een exclusieve badkamer, woon- en eetkamer en een prachtig uitzicht. Met de lange tafel voor 12 personen kunt u bij reservering van beide vakantiewoningen samen dineren. Op aanvraag bieden wij kinderspeelboxen, puzzels, Duplo, Lego, boeken, speelkeuken en loopfietsjes, afhankelijk van de leeftijd. In de binnenplaats vindt u een lounge, een wit bierbankset, een smoker en een vuurkorf voor milde avonden. Het park mag meegebruikt worden, inclusief het speelhuis met glijbaan, zandbak en de trampoline van onze zoon. In onze nieuw ingerichte keuken is een koel-vriescombinatie, vaatwasser, fornuis met inductiekookplaat en oven.

The living area features a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave and oven. Comfortable seating, games and books invite you to relax by the blazing fireplace. Additionally, the fancy "tower room" with another single bed provides space for another guest during summer time. In winter, that room is too cold to be used. In front of the house there is an outdoor sitting area. The great outdoors are right on your doorstep, perfect for lengthy walks. Upon request we can also provide a BBQ free of charge. We are also more than happy to assist you with tips and give you information regarding trips in the region.
