Many great attractions close by like Tahquamenon Falls, Garlyn Zoo, and Oswald Bear Ranch. Bar & Grill restaurant located right near the end of the street on M28 - quick ride or 7 minute walk! Dollar General located half a mile away, and only a 5-10 minute drive into town for more (gas, groceries, and restaurants).

Centrally located in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula, Halfway Lake Cottages provides an ideal focal point to major attractions such as Tahquamenon Falls , Pictured Rocks, The Soo Locks, and Oswald’s Bear Ranch. This area is known for some of Michigan’s best fishing, rock hounding and snowmobiling.

Come stay at our lakefront Round Lake Cottage and enjoy the spectacular sunrise, clear sandy bottom, boating, fishing and swimming fun that lake life has to offer. Relax in the water, on the dock or kick back around the fire and tell your best stories. Located on the West side of North Manistique Lake aka “Round Lake” in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Spend the day at the lake or see sites like Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Seney Wildlife Refuge and Pictured Rocks.

The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

Crisp Point Beach Cabin

Enjoy your lakefront cabin on Lake Superior with private beach access. The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

This 2 bedroom one bath cabin is a sure fire way to escape your daily grind. Excellent location for snowmobilers, close to snowmobile trails. For the summertime getaway we are minutes away from 3 inland lakes with many trails to hike your worries away. Centrally located making many highlights only an hour away. Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point Lighthouse and many more. We use only natural disinfectant cleaners and fragrance and dye free laundry detergents.

Sky Pod (Site 2)

A ten-foot diameter sphere suspended in the trees. The entire platform inside is a mattress, so you enter the bed when you enter the tent. Remove your shoes on the deck and climb in. Solar and color-changeable LED lights and a very private, simple rustic camping experience without the setup and tear down; bring your tents if you’d like, this Sky Pod only sleeps 3 and has a weight limit of 500 pounds for safety. BRING YOUR OWN SLEEPING BAG AND PILLOWS.

Welcome! This is a spacious Montana high country 5th wheel camper to stay in. It is fully connected to water power and sewer. It has almost all the amenities you will need including bedding, towels, cookware and probably some things you forgot.. There is NOT any WIFI on the property though. It has private bedroom with queen bed and a fold out bed that is a Full-sized camper mattress in the couch in the living room. No pets are allowed

Great location for snowmobilers! the trail is 2 blks away from our cozy rustic two-bedroom home in the village. A great home base for adventure in any direction. Tahquamenon falls, whitefish point lighthouse and shipwreck museum, pictured rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi (the big spring, Oswald's bear ranch, sault Sainte Marie, Mackinac Island. or many other things along the shoreline or The UP has to adventure.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
