First of all, let me start with saying that Margaret is an absolutely FANTASTIC host. I messed up my departure date and didn’t realize it until the day of, after check out time (first time that has ever happened to me, horrible!😭) and she was SO HELPFUL, so understanding and just the absolute best!!❤️❤️❤️ Margaret’s place is very cute and neat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (the big Christmas mugs were my favorite!). I loved all the fluffy blankets and the electric fireplace was a nice touch too, since it was really cold this week. The view over the mountains and pastures is really pretty too and the house is very centrally located, close to Franklin but in a quiet area.

We loved staying in the private one bedroom/one bath apartment in Janet’s home. Our stay was comfortable and easy. We had our own entrance and private patio to enjoy. Her home is at the end of the road and surrounded in trees and solitude and also only a short drive to amazing hikes. Janet is a super woman and wealth of knowledge having traveled and hiked all over the US and the world. Tap into her knowledge before you venture out on a trail. We look forward to seeing her again.

Firstly, our Evolve agent was really helpful. He guided us and helped us when we had to change our reservation. Always responsive! The only downside to the property was that there was no cell connectivity from about 0.5 miles out, so we could not open the message that had all the details about the code to check in. We had to drive all the way back to get connectivity to message the host. Other than that, stay was good. No complaints! They even had Netflix in there which was a plus (never saw any host give that)

Had a fabulous stay! Comfy bed and everything was super clean. Great views and short trip to hiking or Franklin NC. Thanks for the hospitality!

We loved our stay and its proximity to downtown as well as hiking trails, etc. Very clean and very helpful hosts! We will be back!

This is a beautifully done home. we shared this with another family of 4. The house was clean and well maintained. Views are spectacular. bedrooms spacious and kitchen had all that we needed to get started. the roads are a bit winding to get to the location, but you get used to them after a few goes.

Glenville Serenity Lodge is a comfortable , clean property. Of all the Airbnb’s we have stayed at , we believe this was the best equipped kitchen. Only minor issue was that the coffee maker wasn’t working & the property manager was unable to send a replacement . ( And bring trash bags- there was only one provided ) Thankfully , Buck’s coffee shop is in town for fresh brewed coffee.(The house has a Keurig if you drink coffee pods) The open floor plan made family time so enjoyable ! Huge table for meals, puzzles& games!! In addition to all of this properties, perks, the beds are extremely comfortable! And this comes as a compliment from one of our family members who had extensive back surgery! The backyard has a gorgeous view of Lake Glenville. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather and were unable to enjoy outdoor features, ex. outdoor fire pit. On the overall- great location, short distance to restaurants breweries.

Carolyn was as wonderful as her cabin & our time there! Check in/out was easy, directions were straightforward, responsiveness was almost immediate, and the cabin/surrounding woods/location was just a dream and everything we hoped for - complete with a fully stocked kitchen, firewood and kindling, hiking trails accessible straight from the property, extremely comfortable beds, a clean spacious bathroom, local art for sale on the walls, cozy details everywhere, a charming loft with movies, and more. I would 10/10 recommend taking the opportunity to stay here - and want to thank Carolyn and everyone else involved that helped make our mountain weekend getaway just perfect!

A group of five of us stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is very convenient to get to Main Street in the Highlands. The home was super cute and well stocked with everything that we needed. Owner was proactive with communicating and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend!
