Unterkunft war wunderschön. Der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer atemberaubend (ca. 20m). Wir als Familie haben uns sehr Wohlgefühl! Auch an der Promenade konnte man schöne Spaziergänge unternehmen und die Umgebung erkunden. Die Lage und Ausstattung der Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Pedro ist ein toller Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit.

We had a brilliant few days staying at Gerald’s apartment, perfect location for exploring the whole of the island and right on the sea front, would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Madeira! Welcome hamper with breakfast bits and snacks was a lovely touch too. Thanks so much for having us!

We had a wonderful holiday. The flat is very clean, comfortable, quiet and cozy with beautiful views and within easy reach from amenities. Iri is a great host. Very helpful and responds promptly. We would definitely go back.

Wir waren fast zwei Wochen in der Wohnung und haben die Zeit total genossen. Die Lage ist super schön, vom eigenen Balkon aus konnten wir aufs Meer schauen und von der Dachterrasse aus den Sonnenuntergang sehen. Es gibt mehrere kleine Bars und leckere Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Die Wohnung war ein bisschen einfach, aber sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Alles nötige für den Alltag war ausreichend und gut vorhanden! Die Kommunikation verlief einfach und problemlos, Carlos war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Eine klare Weiterempfehlung von uns! Wir würden gerne nochmal wiederkommen.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Ótimo espaço com uma excelente vista e uma boa localização. Muito fiel às imagens do anúncio. O único aspeto que creio que podia melhorar é a roupa de cama.

Vi tilbragte 4 uger i Emanuels lejlighed. Gåafstand til indkøb, bycentrum og havnefront. Diverse busruter lige rundt om hjørnet. Vi følte os meget velkomne og de små praktiske problemer, der opstod undervejs, blev løst med det samme. Grundet beliggenheden er der en del trafikstøj, men når det blev for meget, lukkede vi vinduer og altandør - og så var det ok. Emanuel er en fin vært, der svarede meget hurtigt på spørgsmål. Vi blev modtaget meget venligt og fik god instruktion. Tilmed fik vi lokale smagsprøver :-) Vi kan varmt anbefale et ophold hos Emanuel.

The apartment was very convenient near the shops and restaurants and sea front. There was everything we needed in the apartment, comfy chairs and beds. Nice linen, lots of pillows. Bedside table lamps. Charging point. Dining room table to eat at and kitchen table to prepare food with nice little stools. Lots of pans and crockery. Microwave and sandwich toaster. Coffee machine and kettle. Some tea bags and sugar and coffee, washing up liquid, shampoo and toilet rolls to start you off. Great supermarket underneath. Nice little table and chairs on the balcony and throws to wrap up in if it’s a little cool. Great to sit and people watch, traffic is a little noisy when doors are open but quiet when closed so slept well. Nice blackout curtains. Hairdryer. Washing machine and clothes airer plus pegs. Umbrellas. Just everything that we needed.

Thank you Veronica for letting us stay here. You have a little charm here for sure. Loved sitting out on the front balcony watching the ocean something I could do all day. The corner restaurant was an added bonus and the food and service was great.

Check in was easy and smooth, communication was very good from the host. We really did feel like we could lean on them if we wanted anything. Very nice and helpful. House was generally very clean and we had a great time there. Big dinner tables for family meals both inside and out and a nice little breakfast bar. Pool was well maintained and kept clean. Kitchen is pretty much stocked with everything you'd need. Only downside I would say is that the garage would've been too small for the original car we had hired, thankfully we ended up getting a hatchback rather than an SUV. The tight roads would've also been an issue for inexperienced drivers. Not a deal breaker though, the house was very nice and spacious otherwise.

Antonio’s place is beautiful. We really enjoyed cooking on the bbq and we ate every meal on the Veranda which is over looked by trees and flowers - a well kept jungle garden! The place was a good size, very clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the pool - the water was cool and fresh - it felt like a treat. We had a car that managed the steep Madeira slopes and there is a designated parking spot. All was great.

For several months I watched this offer to finally block it. Finally, after 8 months, I managed to rent this house for a week. Well, I’m a visual person and I totally fell in love with the photos. And I’ll tell you something in secret- the photos don’t reflect reality.... it’s much better. A beautiful place, right by the ocean, the ocean sways you to sleep and wakes you up in the morning. The cottage has everything you need for a normal home life. Joana, prepared this place for us like a real Mom - took care of every detail - so that we felt absolutely unique in this special place. Joanna is an extraordinary, wonderful Woman. Full of warmth and empathy. I am very grateful to you Joan for everything you have done for us to make this time so special for us! - thank you! And now dear ones - if you do not see free dates - be patient! It’s worth waiting! It is worth going over 280 stairs to have a piece of paradise for a moment for yourself. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

Tolle Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht und privatem Parkplatz beim Haus. Das Haus ist grosszügig bemessen und zweckmässig ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin war freundlich, hilfsbereit und wenn nötig, gut erreichbar. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der kleine Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Ein ganz lieber Dank dafür, dass wir eine schöne Zeit auf Madeira verbringen durften.

Mooie plek boven op de berg. De zee dichtbij voor een heerlijke duik in de zee. Goede plek als uitvalsbasis naar andere delen en plaatsen van het eiland. Gezellige straat in de buurt met restaurants voor koffie en lekkers en voor een goed diner. Fijn huis om in te verblijven met alles wat een mens nodig heeft voor een fijne vakantie op Madeira

Our stay at the Madalena do Mar Airbnb was truly unforgettable. The home is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. We were lucky to witness stunning sunrises and sunsets right from the deck. The hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality added so much warmth to our trip. This place made our first time in Madeira perfect. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway on this incredible island.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 10 jours chez Juan. La communication a été très bonne. L’appartement est confortable et conforme à la description avec une magnifique vue sur l’Océan et les milliers d’étoiles à la nuit tombée. La place de parking était un gros plus. Coté logistique, l’appartement est vraiment super bien placé, très facile d’accès depuis l’aéroport et pour partir découvrir l’île du Nord au Sud. Nous avons été super ravis de l’accueil chaleureux et du panier de fruits + douceurs de Madère! Cela se fait rare de nos jours pourtant c’est une attention toujours très touchante et appréciable! - merci encore! <3 Honnêtement, tout était super ! Le seul petit souci si je devais en mentionné un sont les chiens des voisins aux alentours qui aboient intempestivement, ce qui est très usant quand on rentre de randonnée pour des suisses qui n’ont pas du tout l’habitude. On va dire que cela fait parti du charme ;) Heureusement durant la nuit on ne les entendait plus!

Jose is super friendly and his parents really sweet! The fresh bananas from the garden and homemade cookies we were gifted were really delicious :) It was very easy to communicate and we always received excellent instructions. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you could need. We loved our time there!

We had a fantastic stay in this cozy apartment right in the center of Funchal. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes' walk to the centre, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. It made exploring the city super easy and convenient. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and the balcony was a lovely bonus for morning coffee or evening wine. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Funchal on foot and experience the local vibe!

O apartamento está moi ben localizado, con moitos servizos moi preto e con praza de aparcamento dispoñible. Resultou moi cómodo para as nosas vacacións tendo en conta as poucas prazas de aparcamento na zona. Pódese ir andando ata o centro de Funchal gozando dun paseo cheo de restaurantes e terrazas para facer unha parada cando apeteza.

Die Lage ist perfekt und wir waren auch mit der Wohnung äusserst zufrieden. Sicher ein Apartment, welches ich erneut buchen und auch weiterempfehlen würde. Vielen Dank!

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Ana hat uns persönlich begrüßt und in Details alles erklärt. Zudem stand für uns in der Wohnung einen Korb mit frischem Obst und die Kekse aus Madeira. Vielen lieben Dank für diese nette Geste! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit den passenden Kaffeepads. In der Wohnung waren sogar Strandhandtücher da, die wir für unsere Badetage im Meer benutzen konnten. In der Umgebung sind sehr viele tolle Restaurants, die in der Fußweite erreichbar sind. Ein Platz in der Tiefgarage war Gold Wert, weil in der Umgebung freie Parkplätze sehr rar sind. Wir bedanken uns bei Ana für Ihre Gastfreundlichkeit! Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Madeira sehr genossen 😊
