We enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin for a long weekend in and around Asheville. The space was very peaceful, private and a reasonably short drive from all the surrounding area had to offer. The hosts were great and everything was how it was described. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Came up for a girls weekend away, thought we were just going to relax a bit, hang out in the hot tub, lil massage… What we experienced was so. much. more than just a “lil weekend away”. When we arrived, both of us have been stressed, dealing with a lot going on and big life changes. Anxious being our normal states of being. When we left, that was no longer the case. Sure we still have lots going on in our lives, and the anxiety will never fully go away - but the ability to fully decompress and relax, combined with the incredible Healing Spa Package #1 was what the doctor ordered and more! The amount of stress and tension that left my body and soul is indescribable, and I can’t wait to come back to visit. This place is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous, the hot tub is the perfect temperature, and Reva is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, wonderful people I’ve met. So very grateful to have come across Compassionate Expressions, and I can’t wait to come back!

Really felt like being at home, our doggie loved being there too, the hot tub was very relaxing. The back yard is moss covered and a lovely space. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was really cute. The porch was fun to hang out on. I was able to use the work space to do some charts and some bills (I know - had to bring a little work on vacation). The work space had a multi purpose charging thingy so I bet they have a charger for most any device. You have to go to the Smokey Mountain Diner. The meals were really good. Go hike Max Patch Bald too! I will return here to hot springs to spend some more time.

For a weekend stay, I got it all: thunderstormy night; misty mornings like waking up inside a cloud; sunny & clear picturesque mid-day sky. This home was the perfect place to experience it all, with excellent river & mountain views, comfy well-appointed deck (hanging chairs!), patio with fire pit, hot tub, & awesome interior. An easy park-&-unload. Reliable wi-fi. Host Lauren is very responsive. Lovely, quaint downtown Marshall (riverside, 1-stoplight Main Street) was affected by Hurricane Helene, Sept. 2024. Some destruction is still visible in town & riverside, but clean-up & recovery are progressing well & clearly in high spirits. (A grand reopening of brewery/pizzeria Mad Co. & a craft fair downtown, the weekend I was there.) This property, its views, & the drive in/out are unaffected; current photos in the listing are entirely accurate. A very peaceful, pleasant stay. Didn't want to leave!

What a beautiful and unique cabin in a beautiful area. Great jump off point for the surrounding Asheville area. Weaverville is a great little town with everything you need. June was an amazing host, very responsive and you can tell she genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. Cozy nights spent on the back porch with the hot tub. Short walk to downtown Weaverville for coffee at Yellow mug for breakfast. There is so much to do in the area which means ill have to come back! I would definitely stay at this cabin again! This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We loved that it was secluded but still close enough to the stores so it wasn’t a hassle to grab last minute things. This was honestly one of the most well kept air bnbs I’ve stayed in. The owner was very helpful with detailed instructions from how to get there to how to use the door lock. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute little cabin in an Absolutely peaceful, remote area. We loved the bridge to get to the cabin, little river in the front yard, fruit trees full of apples all around, the hot tub and seeing the horses in the field. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

My family of four adults and our three dogs had a wonderful new year’s holiday at Rich’s house. I have never stayed at a cleaner or better stocked Airbnb. They truly thought of everything we could think of and more. We especially enjoyed watching the herd of deer that came through the field at the front of the house every afternoon

It was amazing being right at the AT as well as walkable to Artisun cafe and easily accessible to downtown. We squeezed in 7 people and were just fine for the weekend. It just takes a little food planning with a small fridge and no stove, but between the grill, instant pot, and toaster oven we were just fine. It was a very sweet little space to spend our weekend!

We were a party of 3 adults and two toddlers. A little tricky to get to, but the clear instructions helped. We loved the location, the peaceful surroundings, the fireplace, the hot tub and the little stream at the back. The kids enjoyed splashing in it.

We would 1000% stay again! We barely left the home because the views and the comforts were perfect for a vacation. They have every amenity you could ever ask for. There were appliances in the kitchen that we never used but we were impressed by alll of the options. The beds are comfortable and it’s easy to feel at home. As for the driveway- it is quite steep and looks intimidating but people that have experience driving on mountain roads will be totally fine! I made it with my Honda Accord. Book your stay, you won’t regret it!

The home and surrounding property was very well maintained. The hosts provided all the essentials you’d expect plus some extra comfort and convenience items. I’d highly recommend this listing. My family and I stayed for a week of peace and relaxation. We enjoyed regular visits from a family of deer residing on the property, and my son was able to see a groundhog in person! The sounds of nature and the lively chatter of birds was a pure delight.

David was great! Extremely responsive to address my concerns, and took quick action to resolve them. Pet friendly which we really liked. The house setting is amazing and private. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to be back.

Chuck was a great host and provided a quick tour of the property, with some really cool history. Valda was super responsive and very friendly. Their dog Robel even provided our dog with some much needed company. We felt very welcomed. Thank you Valda and Chuck!

Enjoyed our honeymoon here! The host were attentive and helpful in town they have the best diner of home cooked meals. Beautiful views and a nice hot tub! Definitely will be coming back

This is a beautiful mountain cabin that is in a great location near Mars Hill. It is very comfortable, well decorated and had all the amenities that I could ever ask for. The area is absolutely beautiful and quiet. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area and highly recommend. Communication with the host was great and I had no issues throughout the stay. Five stars!!

Had a lovely stay at Nic and Carrie's! Everything was exactly as described and the cabin included many thoughtful touches like extra blankets, space heaters, coffee, spices, flashlights, a lighter for getting the fire started (which we had forgotten so thank you!), and a full supply of firewood. The bed and pillows are also incredibly comfortable. Maybe it was the fresh mountain air, the hiking, the cozy cabin, or just the pillows themselves, but we've never slept so well. You definitely do need 4 wheel drive to get up their driveway, which we didn't have, but we were able to park at the bottom and get our cardio in by walking up to the top. The views were worth it. Would absolutely stay here again!

It was a wonderful relaxing stay. I wish I could have stayed longer and had a chance to explore the area more. comfy bed and soft leather chair by the fireplace. note: house is allllll the way up the mtn so keep going in you are arriving after dark. the house is at the end as far as you can go up.

Not sure where to start. This was our second trip to Cabin Creek Falls. We absolutely love this place! It may be just sitting on the covered porch listening to the sound of the stream running through the front yard, or the sound of the birds chirping, or the privacy that the cabin affords. There are two additional cabins within view of Cabin Creek Falls but in both of our trips we have seen no one there. Traffic on the road to the cabin is very minimal. We find the cabin to be very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. It’s just 20 minutes from I-40. 35 minutes to Maggie Valley. About an hour to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The location of the cabin is a perfect base camp for our visits to western North Carolina. The cabin has been an awesome retreat for us. Already planning our next visit to Cabin Creek Falls! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful place with us!

As we were driving down the driveway to leave my son said ‘that was funner than fun!’ That definitely sums up our time at Sweet Janes! It’s such a wonderful find and cool concept. The whole property was good vibes and it was a perfect weekend getaway. We stayed in Rise and the cabin was wonderful. Even as a family of 5 we all fit easily and comfortably. The cabins were modern and artfully decorated, with a view of the woods. The bed was super comfortable, and usually I have a hard time sleeping in beds that aren’t my own! Lizzie was welcoming and fun to chat with. The community kitchen was really well stocked and lovely to use. I highly recommend a stay at Sweet Janes. We’ll definitely be returning!

It was a beautiful space! The hot tub was super nice and all of the views from the house were magnificent. The only problem I had was with the driveway, it was pretty steep and reakly difficult to back out of. Other than that our stay was perfect 😊

This place was marvelous-so many little added touches-extra pillows, hooks, a fully stocked kitchen and other things. Really clean. Loved the furnishings-perfect! Beautiful property-quiet and private but a close drive to Ashville and other surrounding areas. Beds were comfortable, towels absorbent-everything was perfect! I cannot say enough good things. We will be back! Thank you for creating such a great stay!
