There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Torran Cottage - Views, Exclusivity & Tranquility

Whilst superbly modernised throughout, Torran cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring in the main living room, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings. The views from the cottage and gardens are unbelievable. Panoramic vistas look east to Morven and the Scarabens, south to Ben Klibreck and west to distant views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope. The gardens are spacious, a delight!

Just 1.5miles from Stromness, Feawell is a semi detached cottage sleeping three, in an idyllic location overlooking Orphir Hills and Scapa Flow. We have a large vegetable garden and produce is available to our guests free of charge when in season. Shellfish are also available from our creel boat at a small price. We have a garden and patio area for our guests use and outbuildings suitable for bikes, canoes etc.
