Mersea cottage - in a perfect location

The house has been owned by the same family for the last 40 years, it has been modernised over the years making it feel like a home from home. We feel that The Lane is arguably the best and most characterful location on the island. If you are a seafood enthusiast you couldn’t be better situated as The Company Shed is a 5 minute walk away. It’s walking distance to the beach and sea wall. The village 15 minute walk away with restaurants, cafes & shops. Bikes are a good way to get around the island

Maldon famous for its quay and sailing barges is 10 minutes away. Chelmsford with its entertainment and facilities is an easy and quick drive or bus ride away

Stunning House nr Station, Parking, Fast Wi-Fi

200 REVIEW’S as a Superhost! Thank you. My newly refurbished house is a calm and cosy environment if you need a place to chill out when in Chelmsford. If you are in town for business or pleasure the house has everything you need. Location The house is centrally located on a quiet road around 0.4 miles walk to Chelmsford Train Station, Bus Station and Town Centre. The trains are regular every 8 – 10 minutes (incl to Stratford, London Liverpool St & the London Airports) so no need to panic!

On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen and a separate shower room. The chalet style first floor consists of a living dining room with a double sofa bed leading to the SEPARATE double bedroom with Queen size bed. Small garden with seating. Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.

Spacious, self contained accommodation in a peaceful location. This annexe offers lots of space, a fully equipped kitchen, a desk to work at and large wardrobes for storage. Parking for 1 vehicle, 2nd space available if requested prior to stay. It’s a 5 min drive from the Brentwood Centre & approx. 10 min drive to the High Street. There are local supermarkets, takeaways & restaurants within a 15 min walk away. There are some lovely walks on the door step
