Spectacular view over rolling countryside from the upstairs sitting room at Gable View Cottage is one of the best in Bourton on the Water - surrounded by fields yet only a short easy walk into the village. This unique and spacious upside down one bedroom bolthole has lots of walks on the doorstep, a wide variety of great places to eat, sightseeing and friendly pubs. Well behaved dog welcome. Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Cotswolds Cottage - with great views and walks

A fabulous, surprisingly spacious, terraced stone built Cotswolds holiday cottage set in the lovely rural parish of Rodborough. We've been busy with guests since completely refurbishing the cottage in 2011 - exposing beautiful stone walls, opening up the views, letting in more light, installing a wood-burner, and generally introducing modern contemporary comforts we like when we go on holiday. Please note we can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (plus babies).

Situated near Lechlade upon Thames, Burford, Bibury, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and many more popular Cotswold attractions, the cottage is in an ideal base location to discover. It is also centrally situated near three beautiful wedding venues; Oxleaze Barn, Friars Court and Caswell House.
