The Cotswold Lake Lodge

The perfect location to enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. The house also benefits from being right on the lake with a private jetty where you can use all the kayaks and paddle-boards provided. In the surrounding areas there are some beautiful walks where you can explore the nearby areas. The local village in South Cerney is within walking distance which has some convenience stores. It is also very close to drive to some bigger supermarkets for anything else needed. Inside the house, everything is pristine and decor is to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a great open space with room for all of us to be in without feeling cramped. We found a lovely welcome basket included by the hosts and there are all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The layout of the house was perfect and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, even for a group of girls! Overall we had a fabulous trip and the hosts were always on hand to provide recommendations.

Janice has a lovely house in beautiful surroundings. I particularly liked that everything was nice quality including towels and linen. There was plenty to do in the area with places to eat within walking distance or a short drive. Janice was a very good host her communication was excellent and i would highly recommended a stay at her house.

Really enjoyed our stay here, remote place and a lot of privacy. Cabin was very nicely decorated, really loved the Easter theme. Host was lovely and really made sure we knew what to do and where to go

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

We had a cosy, comfortable stay at The Walkers Rest, with stunning views right from the windows. We made good use of the provided map for a beautiful hike around the local area, spotting plenty of spring lambs along the way. A late request to Angharad for use of the sauna was kindly accommodated, and it turned out to be the perfect final touch to our stay. The sauna features large windows so you can soak in the mountain views and we even heard owls calling in the evening! We’ll definitely be returning!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Windrush was everything we hoped for and more. The house was picture-perfect & immaculately kept, offering everything we needed for our family break. The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, with beautiful grounds and of course the stunning lakes and wildlife, which the whole family enjoyed. Our host was fantastic! Communicative, attentive and thoughtful, with lots of personal recommendations for walks, pubs etc to help make the most of our trip. Overall, it was the perfect Cotswolds escape to celebrate our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. We all fell in love with Windrush and would definitely go back!

Dry Dock Cottage

Dry Dock Cottage is idyllic. The location is peaceful, the cottage has everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Felt right at home, plus we were welcomed by ducks swimming up to say hello. The drive up the narrow road is a little tricky - steep and bendy in places, but as long as you go slow is fine. The flapjacks were delicious (thank you) and were just what we needed to help fuel the climb up Blorenge. The area and cottage was wonderfull and I very much hope to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Lake House on Windrush, Cotswolds Waterpark

We had the pleasure to stay at the house over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The surrounding area is beautiful and the house the well positioned with a beautiful view of and access to the lake. We’ve take the opportunity to make use of the row boat that came with the house. Inside, the properly was nicely furnished, clean and spacious. Communication with the host was easy and quick. Would highly recommend!

This is our second time staying here and we'll definitely be back again! The kitchen has been re-done and the door out to the patio area is new since our last visit, both are great additions. The perfect spot to explore the area and we really enjoyed kayaking on the canal. Lovely cuddles with Julia's dog and cats too. Can't wait to come and stay again :)

Thanks Jill we had an excellent Easter break with 2 of our adult children. The house was spotless and we all loved the decor. It was very cosy especially with the wood burner lit. The property is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds, and Jill’s suggestion to explore the villages like Bibury and Bourton on the Water early morning is a must. We drove through both villages early afternoon and it was packed..more like theme parks! We would highly recommend this property and Jill is an excellent host with exceptional communication

Well Equipped Country Retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Russ’s place. Easy to find and get in ! Lovely kitchen and dining area , overlooking the garden. We had beautiful weather so that was a bonus as was the hot tub. So relaxing. We loved the big tv and the living room. All the bedrooms so comfy and spotless. Amazing mattresses and the water bed was heavenly ! We were able to get to the Cotswolds in 45 minutes and loved the area.

Very comfy and beautiful house, highly recommend! The town and surrounding areas are beautiful. The house has everything you need. Sitting out at night and watching the stars makes it extra special! Juan is very responsive and friendly. Thank you for hosting us!

Eider Cottage: Lake Access, View & Spa

4 couples, had a great weekend at Eider Cottage. Only one parking place allocated, but plenty of visitor places nearby. The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We kicked off our shoes and completely relaxed. Being directly on the lake was wonderful and we enjoyed using the Kayaks to explore the other side. Saw many varieties of birds. The Spa is a short walk away. We booked the day before, and had a lovely time using the 3 pools. We did a lot of walking around the beautiful lakes and 2 of us brought their bikes. The on site Property Managers, Liam & Pete were on hand and had excellent communications. We would highly recommend Eider Cottage and hope to return to Lower Mill Estate in the near future.

We were a family of 8 and had a great time. Charlie communicated well and we had no problem settling in. The house is very charming with lots of character and we had everything we needed. We walked to the pub in 20 minutes but i wouldn't recommend it for kids or elderly or in the dark. We made a nice little easter egg hunt for the kids in the grounds and enjoyed playing on the Dennis court do. We would definitely come back again.

Lunas Cottage - Grove Road Cottages

We had a really fabulous weekend in Stratford. The apartment was perfect being really close to town and a cute park to walk the dog nearby too. Parking was easy and the apartment was really comfortable and plenty of space. Stratford is such a fabulous place to explore and walk around. Paul was really responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend

A brilliant stay - Joe’s place is a great base for exploring Hereford and beyond. We loved how comfortable and well-appointed it was, with lots of helpful instructions for how to use appliances and find what we were looking for. A gorgeous home!
