Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a restored retreat with a story in every detail. Started by my free-spirited, hippie mom in the early 1980s, it sat unfinished for decades. In 2020, we brought it back to life with a renovation, honoring its roots while adding comfort. Today, it’s a peaceful escape to slow down, walk quiet dirt roads, and take in sunset views from the deck. Featured in 417 Magazine, it’s a one-of-a-kind place to unplug and reconnect. About 15 miles SW of Ava on Hwy 76 in Goodhope.

Need more space, bring an RV with full hook up available for an extra $50 a night. We hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable stay in God’s creation. Hartville is a quiet rural town, that has several eating options, and a nice lake for fishing, or kayaking, also The historical sight of the Civil war battle of Hartville. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you should need to prepare your meals. Laundry provided as well. Come stay awhile, and experience the charm of Hartville.

Unique hand-hewn cabin with architectural salvage

We love rustic design and repurposing old things, especially reclaimed wood and rusty tin which you will find throughout this adorable cabin. Located on our 72-acre farm, this unique cabin was built with hand-hewn oak logs and creek stones off the property. While we did not build the original structure, we’ve spent a great deal of time renovating and painstakingly finishing each detail. We cannot wait to share it with you, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
