Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Right on the majestic courthouse square, you'll be just steps away from shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Lovely Marfa Hideaway

Our beautiful compound at the edge of town has two buildings: The front is for living and dining, and the back is for sleeping. It's a short walk between the two through a blooming desert garden and vine-covered pergola. Climb the spiral stairs at the front house to the roof deck for unobstructed views of the sunset, sunrise, and the Milky Way. We are five minutes from downtown. Dogs are accepted with pre-approval and a $50 flat fee--no more than one dog.
