We booked this place because of its close proximity to the Powerhouse Event Center - It was a 12-minute walk, just what we were looking for. The space was clean and comfortable, including the bed, and just the right size for 2 people.

We come to Cedar Rapids for horse shows at the equestrian center. I love shopping in the Czech village and in Newbo, and since I love history, I thought this would be a fun place to stay! It definitely was! Not too big, but definitely enough room. And I even appreciated that there was room for the three of us to each hang our bath towel; sometimes it seems like I’m needing to hang a towel over a chair when we stay at an AirBnB. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We have stayed several times in various units in Richard and Tim's property. The location works well for us. Richard and Tim are very attentive and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay , the apartment is very comfortable and has everything one may need. Easy check in , great communications , no issues ...we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Second time staying here. Just as great as the first. Same experience as expected which is nice when traveling.

Could not have been more pleased with not only the cozy little spot blocks from Coe College but the hosts and their staff! While staying my 3 year old got sick sadly. First thing in the morning they were at my door to take the soiled linens, towels and provide fresh. They also happily remade the bed! Will most definitely be revisiting with a child going to Coe next year and this is top of the list! 💚💚

These folks were amazing. Everything was great. My lightbulb went out and they even came and replaced it. They walked me through the property before I ever got there. They shouldn’t have had assisted me with such an early check-in and had no trouble. They helped me. I truly enjoyed my stay here. It was amazing price for the valueand if I come back to Iowa, I will come to these people again.

Very cozy walkout basement apartment. Completely separate from the main house with its own furnace and washer and dryer. The main floor of the house is made out of poured concrete so you cannot hear anything above you. The apartment opens onto the backyard that abuts a ravine. We saw deer, a muskrat and lots of squirrel and birds. Great location slightly off the main campus area but downtown was easily accessible. The apartment is clean and modern. We have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs (we are travelling indefinitely) and I cannot think of one that was more thoughtfully stocked. Extra toothpaste and tooth brushes; a coffeemaker and coffee; extra towels; candies; toilet paper an paper towels; etc. Highly recommended place to stay in Iowa City.

Perfect location for visiting family in Iowa City. I love the country atmosphere. Would love to stay during harvest season because they have plenty of vegetable gardens. Look forward to staying there again.

The Urban Oasis was truly an “oasis” — quiet, private, cozy, well-stocked — during a difficult time. Kristen messaged throughout the stay to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a short stay or an extended vacation. About a 12-minute drive to the hospital which is also helpful if you need to be close.

It was really easy to check in and the place was clean and comfortable. It was a nice home base for our family during the holidays.
