Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Living With Leopards

Our expansive home in a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit is the perfect space to unwind and explore. Enjoy the passing-by of leopards, hyena, giraffes, warthog, buck of all kinds, mongooses, giant lizards and beautiful birds - all of whom make their way through our garden on a daily basis. Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. Relax in the pool with a cocktail to the sounds of the bush, and slow down in style.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night. With only 3 luxury rooms catering for 6 guests, Ntoma House offers a romantic and intimate experience and is the perfect hideaway for a private family or secluded lockdown destination. 2 Bedrooms with king size/twin beds and another with a double bed are available. The lodge is designed with modern day comforts, using materials that allow guests to continuously experience the natural beauty of their surroundings. "My Side of the Mountain" is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, as mongoose, bushbabies, and antelope frequently wander through the area. A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.
