The apartment is beautifully positioned and quiet. East-north facing for the sunshine and a good walking distance to cafes, amenities, restaurants, the beach and wharf. The apartment was well fitted out with the comforts of home and generous supplies to supplement any cooking required. We were well provided for. The bed is very comfortable.

The experience was even better than we expected. Complete privacy, river frontage was amazing, plenty of room for the kids to play around, fire under the stars. What more could you want.

Lisa and Mel have created such a haven in a tranquil bay overlooking K’Gari. We arrived late and left early and yet they had prepared a continental breakfast and were so responsive with local recommendations. The Amethyst Cottage is homely and very comfortable with a generous king size bed plus indoor and outdoor seating. The shower and bathroom are very spacious and everything was sparkling clean. The apartment is in an efficiently run holiday complex which is really well located at the top end of Gympie Terrace. You are close enough to walk to everything but during the crazy period over Xmas you’re not overrun by people and cars. Checkin was extremely quick and easy and the place was clean and turned over nicely. Also nice that they had turned on the AC and cooled the place down for our arrival. Wifi was a bit unreliable but that’s a negligible issue. During the Xmas and New Year period all accommodation in Noosa costs triple what it normally should but this place was priced better than the other options around the popular Gympie Terrace area.

We stayed at Amanda’s place for 6 weeks while we came down to have our third baby. The unit was in walkable distance to a variety of kids parks, beaches, shops and restaurants. We had a great time with our 3 and 6 year old and there was stand up paddle boards and body boards for the kids to use. The kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home and be able to cook our own meals. Amanda was super responsive to any questions we had and the cleaners that came through while we were staying did an amazing job. We would highly recommend staying here!

Amazing, peaceful place to stay. The creek was quite high and running so we unfortunately couldn’t get across it to get onto the kayak 😢 but everything else amazing. 10/10 for the hot tub and decor. Great information regarding the carriages history. The wildlife is also an added bonus 😊 I recommend getting up as the sun is coming up and sitting on the deck with a nice cup of coffee watching the wallabies in the yard.

A high class homely entertainers delight. 4 generations of our family had plenty of room to be together when we wanted to, and also have separate areas for personal down time. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The pantry and fridge was well stocked, and the welcome basket of goodies, very welcomed! Jacinta and Michelle helped with instructions along the way, and the house has plenty of instructions on how to use all their fantastic appliances. The house is private and the area is quiet, so we were able to relax outside and enjoy the heated pool, relax in the outside chairs and lounges. There is so much to enjoy in this house. Amazing.

What a fabulous place to stay and recharge. I travelled solo, but the spa cottage was intimate and perfect for couples. families would also really enjoy the facilities, animals and open spaces. the price is perfect for the facilities and the privacy. Its high quality and quiet. I made use of the spa, the paddleboard and the bikes to ride into peregin springs. all great conditions. riding took the same time as driving and it feels like you are ages from civilisation, but its 10 minutes away from all you need. We stayed with our two littles (1.5 and almost 4) and had a great time. Georgina has kid friendly cutlery, a well thought out and supplied kitchen ready for use and we cooked most of our meals at the house. We spent a lot of our time down on the waterfront with the kids chasing soldier crabs, finding hermit crabs and jumping in puddles while hubby pumped for yabbies so he could go fishing. So many sand flies (comes with the territory) but the house is fully screened so once you’re inside it’s a-ok. We got over to feed the dolphins, amazing experience for all of us! If we come back to Tin Can Bay we’d definitely reach out to Georgina to see if her place is free.
