Riverside Cottage with relaxing forest location

Riverside Cottage is nestled on the edge of a Whinlatter Forest, overlooking a forest ravine in Thornthwaite. The cottage is close to the Skiddaw mountain range, Go Ape and and Michelin Starred restaurant The Cottage In The Wood. Beautifully renovated, it is light and airy throughout. There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath, a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and super modern kitchen, both with patio doors opening to the large veranda overlooking the tumbling beck.

The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. Garden Cottage is a lovely converted barn attached to Catlands Foot Farm tucked away on the hillside with views across to the Galloway Hills, Scotland. Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns.
