Golden Elm Cottage

Welcome to Golden Elm, a sun-drenched, rustic cottage a minute walk from all that Greytown's village has to offer. It's the perfect couples retreat or getaway for a small family. There are two beautiful bedrooms: The master with a Queen bed, and a smaller room with a King Single. There's a wood burner for colder nights and a clawfoot bath to relax in. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped with all the essentials and there is a BBQ on the patio, ideal for the warmer months. Come & stay.

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Walnut Cottage, a rural idyll

Relax 10 minutes from town in a charming country cottage with all mod cons. Close enough to amenities to explore town but quiet enough to see and hear the tui's, kereru and Ruru (morepork owls) at night. There is a creek running through the bottom paddock for kids to splash in or explore for eels while you enjoy the sun on the patio. It is a great spot for a romantic getaway or a family break in the country. There are lots of walks around, animals to see and the tranquility is unbeatable.

Charming country cottage close to town

Connolly’s Cottage is a charming and cosy country cottage built in the 1890’s. It's close to town but peaceful, situated on 6.5 acres of gardens. While we live in a separate home on site, you have your own private garden. The cottage is well decorated and equipped with essentials. There is one queen bed, one double bed, and two single beds, all with quality linen. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: The double room is accessed through the single bedroom. Please keep this in mind when booking!

Swan Lake Gardens Country Cottage.

This cottage is situated in the country in a farm setting.We are 2 kms from the Airport and on the road to Gladstone vineyard . It is a 5 min drive to the Kuripuni shopping complex with many restaurants, a movie theatre and a supermarket on hand . The gardens are open to our guests where you will enjoy seeing the mute swans and other birds including a pet peacock. This cottage is not suitable for young children we have farm machinery and large open water spaces on the property.

Riversdale/Homewood Farm Retreat

This fully restored 1870’s one bedroom cottage is waiting for you to enjoy. Located on a historic sheep and beef farm, this cute cottage was originally built for the station cook and in later years has housed the overflow of family guests until its full refurbishment in 2018. Come and relax in the luxurious surroundings away from civilization. The cottage is located on a picturesque part of the Wairarapa coast which has been in the current owners family since the 1870’s.

The deck is a sunny peaceful spot for morning coffee and the plumpy fireside sofa perfect for sinking into with a glass of wine. The Gatehouse is only six minutes drive from Martinborough and 11 minutes to Greytown. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, one a four poster, a kitchen/dining space and new bathroom with shower (high pressure system installed Oct 2022).
