Ich wurde sehr herzlich von Lalith und seiner Familie begrüsst. Es sind genau die Gastgeber, die man sich wünscht. Die Villa war blitzsauber - sogar die Fenster waren geputzt. Was mich vor allem positiv beeindruckt hat, war die Kücheneinrichtung: Die Küche ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hat gutes Licht und viel Raum zum Kochen und Essen. Es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine, einen tollen Smoothie Maker und sogar eine Rührmaschine. Alle Pfannen sind in tadellosem Zustand und es hat genügend schönes Geschirr. Für alle, die gerne selber kochen eine ideale Unterkunft. Ich wurde jeden Tag überrascht mit leckerem Essen, zubereitet von Lalith‘s Frau und Tochter. Die Villa ist sehr ruhig in einem privaten Garten gelegen. Bushaltestelle und Strand sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Ich habe meinen zehntägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kann diese Villa nur weiterempfehlen. 10/10!!! Gerne komme ich wieder. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Lalith und seine Familie.

Ujith and his sister and her husband were great hosts. They responded whenever we needed them and gave us the privacy we needed too. The villa is enormous! it can easily cater for 10 people even though there were only three of us. The pool is well cleaned and the garden is well marinated so it's a pleasure to spend time there. The location is great too. It's a 5 minute taxi ride to the main street which has restaurants, shops and the beach. We walked it a few times too but it is a long walk. The only issue we had was the inconsistency of the cleaner coming to clean the villa which was meant to be 5-6 days per week. But after speaking to Ujith, he sorted it out so she came consistently. Overall we were very happy with our stay at the villa.

My family had 5 nights in this delightful house which was a perfect antidote to 10 days of rushing around the island of Sri Lanka. It was so relaxing and greatly benefited from having private staff who dealt with everything we could possible have wanted. There is a private chef who went out of his way to prepare whatever we asked for, 3 meals a day if needed. He only charged us for the ingredients required to prepare those meals which included a range of seafoods (e.g. huge prawns and seer fish), fresh fruit and very tasty Sri Lankan main dishes and deserts - nothing was too much trouble and he should be justly proud of his cooking skills, some of the best meals we tasted on our trip. They happily took us out on the tuk-tuk to local shops and will arrange local tours but we were "toured out" by the time we got there. The pool is fantastic (and huge!) and the grounds are constantly maintained by "Uncle". I cannot say anything but positive things, but do bring the bug sprays!

Beautiful place, wonderful pool, comfortable beds, relaxing atmosphere, helpful staff and enough space for everyone to chill out - what more could you ask for? And all just a 15-minute tuktuk ride from Galle Fort history or Ahangama bars.

Overall stay was great! Rooms were very clean with good air conditioning, and clean towels for both shower and pool! One thing to keep in mind is that the seating area and kitchen are outdoor which I didn’t know when booking but it turned out to be good chilling by the nature around! The property is very peaceful with lots of greenery. Valentina was also very responsive and a great host. Can definitely recommend!

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Etwas außerhalb, aber mit Pickme kein Problem. Die Küche entspricht nicht europäischen Standards. Braucht man aber nicht, da Frühstück angeboten wird. Wir würden sowieso empfehlen Essen zu gehen. Es gibt in Galle und Umgebung unzählige Möglichkeiten. Geheimtipp: Koggalla Beach. Traumhaft schön und leer. Kein Risiko Touristen, aus einem Land das derzeit in Europa eher unbeliebt ist, über den Weg zu laufen.

We loved Tai’s place. The house is beautiful, and both Tai and all of the staff were extremely accommodating. We had beautiful meals and loved the pool and garden in particular.

The Lakeview Villa is a stunning, secluded (despite being not so far away from the closest town) property. Garden is extremely well kept, the interior is well thought out giving the building soul which other more modern villas usually lack. I could spend days marveling the view from the pool. The staff are kind and welcoming. Lesley is a great host, responsive at all times. And my favorite part of the stay - Sonali’s cooking - she is a master of her craft and treated us to dishes leaps and bounds ahead of anything else we ate on the island. The food itself is worth the visit to the house. Do not hesitate to book this property!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa! The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch. Chef Sammy’s food was superb! Very accommodating and he catered to our requirement without a hesitation and Thari was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Nissanka und Dammika empfangen und sie haben uns am ersten Abend verschiedene sehr leckere Currys zubereitet und sind dabei auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Die Unterkunft ist unheimlich schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Schnitt mit dem offenen Wohnraum inklusive Pool und die verschiedenen Kunstgegenstände machen das Haus sehr individuell und besonders. Super sauber und mit einer tollen Lage, wenn man ein bisschen schlendern und Abends verschiedene Restaurants testen möchte. Wir haben auch das frisch zubereitete Frühstück von Nissanka und Dammika sehr genossen. Toll fanden wir auch die ausführlichen Infos mit Hinweisen zur Umgebung und Empfehlungen für Strände, Ausflüge, Restaurants etc. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße!

Hello all travelers. If you are looking for well-being, comfort, peace and entertainment literally just a few steps away, don't hesitate and come here. Breakfast with a view of the wild ocean, where you can have a great time and forget all your worries. The villa offers all food at any time, but you can buy food about 50 meters away in the market and leave it to the wonderful host and his team, who will arrange literally everything you ask for. So an ideal choice for a group of friends. It is a little more expensive, but if it can be taken that way because everything here is at prices that are still more than good. If you are planning a trip, the prices are very similar everywhere and here they will arrange any trip you can think of at prices like anywhere else in the area. If you are traveling with a backpack, go somewhere else here, it is associated with better quality and I recommend taking the whole place so that you have privacy, which I think is the most important thing th

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

After a previous stay, we booked the utterly stunning main villa for a family holiday - we were not disappointed! 9 Provinces connected us in a totally authentic way to the heart and soul of Sri Lanka. The historic building is brought to life through the stories told by each room, each design feature, each work of art and every nook. It was amazing to experience a villa where every room was different. Some featured AC, paddy views, and huge luxurious bathtubs opening to lush tropical gardens, complete with magnificent birds, peacocks and squirrels . Verandah-covered walkways connect you to the pool, cooled by ceiling fans with spots for dining, sitting or relaxing on day beds. My sister had the best massage of her life here! We enjoyed on site yoga-based range of motion sessions, breathwork, meditation and aqua aerobics, all while soaking up the estate’s rich spice and plantation history. The owners were perfect hosts sharing excellent tips on local restaurants and hidden gems.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very well organized, rooms were clean, view is amazing, and the staff is very friendly, proactive and helpful (special thanks to Nishan). We would definitely come back here!

We highly recommend this apartment, it is even better than the photos! It is super clean and feels very spacious with comfortable sofas. It feels like such a large space with an upstairs bedroom and the large downstairs bedroom has an en suite. The pool is amazing, 100 % private and so lovely to be able to cool down and chill out. It is walking distance to local shops, markets and the fort. It is worth enquiring if they would consider a 2 night stay. Liaising with Dineru and meeting his Dad was a pleasure. They were so flexible on our departure and we really cannot thank them enough. Do not hesitate to book here, fantastic value.

Hikkaduwa - Southwest Beach Town in Sri Lanka! The welcome by Lasantha & Madhu was incredible. I'm amazed by their Hospitality. Nomad Nest has a stunning architectural design. Natural Sunlight throughout the property, with a swimming pool & Car Parking space, lot of amenities with a pvt digital assistant (Siri) & yes a PS5 too. Lot of good places to eat around too. You can self drive to the other coast towns. Host was kind enough to arrange the same. All I say is.. if you have a wonderful host, then you are sorted.

Coconut tree villa is such a special place. The location is really incredible, so peaceful, surrounded by jungle with birds, monkeys and peacocks. Our children loved the pool and were made to feel like royalty by the staff on site. We had a few lovely meals prepared by the lovely ladies for extra cost. Roshan the tuk tuk driver took us to the market to choose some fish, but beware, we were scammed when we went ventured off from him to buy fruit, spending £17 on a few items! The town is a 5 min tuk tuk ride away and we paid 600 ruppee each way, directly to Roshan. We were provided with a mobile and we just called him once we had finished at the beach and he arrived in miniutes. Lesley is a fantastic host, and responded to our requests. We had the most incredible start to our trip and wished we had booked longer, we cant wait to return to CTN!

We had a great stay at the ground floor apartment. It was clean and comfortable, 2 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and kitchen facilities. A lovely patio area and a large swimming pool with sun beds. We had the place to ourselves as we were the only guests. The staff were friendly and helpful and responsive to our requests. The neighbour can also sort out taxis and tuk tuks to take you places. We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

We had an incredible family holiday and a wonderfully relaxing week. We felt so comfortable and at home. The villa staff were amazing and kept the place spotless. The meals were superb and we had help with anything we needed. We were able to get to local attractions very easily with the recommended tuc tuc. Your villa manager was also incredibly helpful, friendly and easily contactable if needed. I would highly recommend Audrey’s place and we would definitely love to come back. The kids loved the bunk beds, swimming pool and near by beaches where they could learn to surf.

We had a great time at Raki’s place. It was a nice and peaceful villa located at a secluded place. We loved the swimming pool, the privacy and also the cozy rooms. The staff including Isuru were responsive and friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommended, specially for group stays.

We were 2 couples travelling together. Sashike & his beautiful wife welcomed us. Fabulous villa walking distance to some lovely restaurants. We got a Tuk Tuk to turtle beach in Talpe around 5 mins away - get there just after 9am to feed these gorgeous creatures. Would highly recommend staying here!

We feel a bit teary writing this as Nalaka and his family now feel like a bit of a family to us. Our Sri Lankan family 🥰 We could not have asked for a better experience staying in Serene Cottage. We turned up to pure paradise and stayed for 10 nights, but it could have been longer. The house is down a quiet road in a rural village. It is pure peace. The bedrooms and wonderful, with super comfortable beds. The terrace is 10/10, nothing beats a morning coffee sitting out there. We could not fault the stay... and we could not fault Nalaka and his family. They went above and beyond at every moment. They made us a delicious breakfast everymorning, they helped arranging days out and taxi's, they even cooked us a dinner for my mums Birthday - something we will never forget. My sister had an accident and ended up in hospital, they were there straight away helping and supporting. This family have created a home away from home that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. We will be back!
