Simon’s place is a brilliant location if you love easy strolling to amazing restaurants, bars, nightlife, cafes and shopping! (And who doesn’t!). The street itself is quiet and peaceful. The house was comfortable, spotless and petite, with everything we needed to feel at home and at ease. Very accessible throughout, no stairs and a superb walk in shower. Co-host Nicole was super responsive to any questions we had, which was really helpful. The use of a free local parking permit was an added bonus, as we had a car and because the area really is in the centre of the action, parking is otherwise time limited or metered. We’ll be booking a return visit for sure!

Jennifer’s place was perfect for our week in Melbourne. Close to the park, shops and other amenities (including the tram). We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that Jennifer went the extra mile in providing a porta cot and high chair so we didn’t have to bring these from home. Highly recommended.

Naomi is an awesome host! She was so helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and seamless as possible. The house is perfect for a Fitzroy stay and so easy to get to more restaurants, cafes and fun places than you can actually visit - you need months! The house was really comfy and easy to live in. We had an awesome week!

This was our first trip to Melbourne, and we stayed at this property. The house was exactly as shown in the photos—very spacious and clean. The host kindly prepared some light snacks for us, and we also enjoyed coffee and other beverages. Although we didn’t cook this time, the kitchen was fully equipped, and I believe we wouldn’t have any trouble living here. The host was very kind in our messages, and everyone in our group really loved this house. We’d love to stay here again if we have the chance. If you’re visiting Melbourne, I highly recommend this home!

What’s not to like about Red Gate Terrace? The location can’t be beat: easy walk to two tram lines, supermarket virtually around the corner, shops and restaurants nearby and the beautiful Edinburgh Gardens a short stroll away. But the best part is the house! It is simply beautiful, decorated with lovely antiques and collectibles from around the world and filled with comfortable and welcoming furniture. Plus, the kitchen had all the modern features you’d expect, and there was even a clothes washer. And the whole house was spotless when we arrived. What a wonderful place to call home! Daniel was always quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. Recommend, recommend, recommend!

Great homely studio with everything you need to be comfortable. Super convenient location with the added bonus of parking. Situated on quiet side street but quick walking distance to coffee/food and transport. Very comfortable couch and bed and feels like your home rather than an empty hotel room.

I spent such a comfortable week in Christian's place, and his flexibility to my travel schedule is fully appreciated. The apartment had everything one needed for an easy breakfast, else great cafes were just a short walk away. The large balcony was very welcomed for some days where I just wanted to spend quiet time indoors. Just to note I stayed across a weekend, and while there was some fun chatter in neighbouring blocks, the sliding doors are very soundproof so that was helpful.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! Rose was incredibly responsive and provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. The space was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!

Vicki was a great host, clear and precise communication and the accommodation she provided was excellent. The location is great, easy access to public transport, restaurants and shopping. Off street parking is also a bonus for car owners.

Kerry's lovely and her home is beautiful! There was always something new to look at because so much heart was put into decorating the place. The house felt like a museum (with all the different antique pieces to marvel at), but also felt incredibly homely with adequate modern amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Our only regret was not having enough time to explore and appreciate the house because we left the house early and got back late on most days while we were in Melbourne. The location of the house was a bit further out from the city centre but it was easy to get to with tram, metro, and bus options. Moreover, Fitzroy itself has a lot to offer without really ever needing to step foot into the city centre. Thank you Kerry for being a wonderful host and we wish you all the best in your endeavours!

Kumari & Paul are fabulous hosts who look after us really well. The accommodation in their home is spotless, spacious, comfortable, cosy and colourful. You can walk to the beautiful beach at Half Moon Bay and the Black Rock restaurants and cafes. So many reasons to stay and why we return here!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is super lovely, clean, cozy, and feels just like home. Everything was neat and well taken care of and Chelo is so warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. Plus, their dog, Carla is the cutest! She made the stay even more special. I love staying at this little sanctuary . The gardens are beautiful as is the room amd I always feel so relaxed when I stay here. I visit my son who lives nearby and this is the perfect place for me to stay whilst travelling from interstate.
