Victoria’s cottage was a beautiful escape from normal city life. My partner and our dog enjoyed our stay immensely over the early May bank holiday weekend. Victoria is a lovely host and very friendly, she gave us some recommendations for local walks we could take with our dog. This home was one of the best stocked AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The aga oven kept the whole place a lovely temperature even despite the warm weather. I would love to return again for a longer stay.

A wonderful spacious place, full of light and very comfortable, we had a small family gathering and it was perfect, thoroughly recomended.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the May bank holiday, 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. We had a great start from start to finish. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The host is super helpful but not over bearing. It was so peaceful and a truly unforgettable stay. Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

The perfect retreat for both of us and our pup. Beautiful scenery & lovely host. We loved using the wood burning stove to cook our meals & our english breaky tastes sooo much better!

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!
