Highly recommend staying here! Emir is clearly an expert AirBnB host, providing us with extremely detailed information about the house, location, and recommendations for nearby restaurants / hiking / other attractions. He is also highly responsive. We loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars at night with the beautiful views. We all hope to come back and stay here again sometime :)

Wir waren leider nur für einen Kurztrip vor Ort. Das Haus ist unfassbar schön gelegen, mit einer wundervollen, märchenhaften Lichtung, auf die man von der großartigen Veranda blickt. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, der wird sie dort finden. Ein wahrhaft magischer Ort. Auch das Haus selbst ist fantastisch, bestens ausgestattet und vermittelt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Alles in allem ein Traum abseits der Küste, jedoch nah genug, um schnell am Wasser zu sein, wenn man denn noch möchte…

This was our second stay - such a special house situated in a perfect spot. We just love the feel of the place and it’s hard to beat the view and peacefulness of the location. Don’t miss the walk down to the beach (our kids and dog can manage the last little climb down with the rope), or sitting in the hot tub in the morning and evening. Easy drive to Mendocino and other spots as well.

Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. Thanks for everything Denise!

It was a beautiful area and a very cute place to stay. However, we were not aware of how close the main house was to the cottage.

We had a wonderful & relaxing stay. Great view of the ocean, quiet neighborhood and convenient location if you needed to go to Mendocino or Fort Bragg. The home was roomy, comfortable and exactly as listing pictures showed. We enjoyed seeing the deer walking by each day. Neighborhood was perfect for going on walks & exploring the area. The fire pit was a nice addition. The only recommendations I have: (1) the Jack & Jill shower has a very slippery floor and needs some anti-slip strips added. (2) no extra garbage bags were provided other than the one that was in the kitchen garbage can. We would definitely stay here again.

Just spent a long weekend at Sam’s and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Brought our pup too- nice touches like food and water bowls for the dog. The views are truly lovely and peaceful. We spent a lot of time soaking in the hot tub enjoying those views of the hills. House is super cute and has everything you need without there being a bunch of stuff. I appreciate that! Beds are comfy, lots of towels, clean bathrooms. We took another reviewers advice and brought lots of food from home so we didn’t end up needing to go to the market! plenty of room in fridge and cabinets. We ate dinners out- Piers Place and Noyo fish market - both with lovely views in relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly. We enjoyed exploring the coast and especially loved the views and ease of Greenwood State park- gorgeous! Would for sure stay here again! Thank you Sam!!

This place was beyond all of our expectations. It was nestled in a great location where we felt like we were so deep into the woods but yet so close to the small town. Check in was very easy and Pete was very responsive. The place itself was just magical. The A Frame was very unique, clean, with great atmosphere with all the tall trees surrounding us. The Spa was such a great touch that we took advantage of for many hours! It was such a romantic getaway for me and my now fiancé, who proposed to me right on the deck! The ambiance was just absolutely perfect. No complaints at all, and this place will forever hold a place in our hearts.. thank you thank you thank you ;)

We stayed for a week and enjoyed this house, surroundings and of course the beach! We walked around so much! Deers were daily visitors. I mean they are everywhere! House is clean and it has perfect layout. Coffee bar perfect! EV charger was plus for us! Philip is a very nice and very communicative host! We will be back!
