Swallow Hill Manor was beautiful and Dylan was a wonderful host! The house itself is stunning and the surroundings were absolutely idyllic. The property was spacious and appeared just like the listing. I would highly recommend staying here!

Our family of 5 had an amazing few days here. Despite not being informed that the dock wasn’t in yet, the kids still loved jumping in the canoes and kayaks and going out safely into the private pond. Would love to stay here again with a small group of friends!

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you would need was provided. Just pack your clothes and toothbrush and you are all set. The house was even better than described, if that’s possible. The layout was perfect for gathering and just catching up. The beds were so comfortable. And the outside was even nicer. Lots of places to sit and relax. The lake was just a step away. Tanis was also very easy to communicate with. You can tell he really cared about our stay. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

This is an incredibly comfortable and remarkably well equipped lakefront house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and tools to keep the cooks happy, and all of the water gear anyone could ask for. We especially appreciated the large porch overlooking the lake. Close to the busy road (as was described in the listing), but blocked off and made visually private by fencing. Owners incredible, responding almost instantly, warmly, and generously.

This is the second time we've stayed at Kym's house. We love the historic character and quirky features of the house. Kym and Bob are great hosts and always responsive. The house is so close to Sunapee and Ragged Mountains, so it's the perfect spot for a ski getaway. Love to come back to the fireplaces after a day of skiing!

The host was friendly and responsive, we got exactly what we were expecting, no surprises. The house was cozy and met all our needs, we would definitely recommend it to others and would also stay there again.

Karen is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is all on one level and if one is senior the one floor living in helpful. The place was very well kept and very clean and had everthing one would need for a nice getaway. There is a restuarant in walking distance and one could walk along the lake road right outside the door. In the winter the house is 8 to 10 miles each way to snow skiing mountains and another 8 miles away to food shopping. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Loved staying at Henniker Manor. Amenities listed were all included and area was clean and neat. Bedrooms were satisfactory and kitchen was large and clean as well. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay at Henniker Manor!

This house was perfect for our needs! Large space with many sleeping accommodations, multiple bathrooms, kitchens, grills, and living rooms which was convenient for our large group. The house is tucked back behind a long driveway which provided us with plenty of privacy. The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful! Winnipesaukee was ~10 minutes away from the house and the hosts left a list of places to eat/things to do which were all easy to get to. Would absolutely stay here again if going back to the Gilford/Laconia area!

This is the second year that my group of friends has booked this location. If you are looking for a perfect vacation spot for you and 15 other friends or family, you honestly can’t do any better. Everyone has a bed, and there are plenty of bathrooms to go around. We cook all of our meals in, and having two fridges and kitchen with all of the pots and pans you need made it really easy. The house is rustic, so welcoming, and full of charm. We loved having space inside for board games, crafts and big family style meals. The back patio and pool have a great view and is a spectacular spot to watch the sunset.

Big Red is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stunning, spotless, and thoughtfully designed the space was. The wellness amenities truly set this place apart — the sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub created the ultimate spa-like experience right at home. Whether you’re coming with a big group or just a few people, Big Red is perfect — spacious, cozy, and incredibly inviting. The hosts were amazing — so responsive, kind, and accommodating. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay completely stress-free. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of our next trip back. Can’t recommend it enough!

The condo is so beautiful and so close to everything. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay for my family. So grateful to have found this spot and absolutely will be renting here again. 10/10 recommend.

This house is very nice and cozy. Everything was as the description said. We went in the winter time and the house is 10 minutes away from Gunstock Mountain, can't beat that. There are lots of things to do in Gilford, Laconia and you can drive to the Ice Castles in an hour. Great experience. Christine was very flexible with the schedule and was able to fit us in perfectly on a really busy week during February vacation :)

Can't beat this location! Came to ski at Sunapee and it was around a 6 min drive to the mountain. House sits right on the lake too which was a beautiful view. Justin a was very responsive and proactive host!

Had a great stay! Loved the cabin (was larger than I expected from the photos), was easy to find and Lisa was extremely responsive with any questions. Spent the day skiing at Sunapee and was an easy drive to the cabin. Would happily return!

Noelle was not only a very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable hostess, she went out of her way to make sure we thought of all items for our trip, she supplied everything you could possibly think of without making your stay cluttered or complicated. The quality of the products used was top notch, she was attentive, flexible and generous through out the entire transaction - I would recommend Noelle and her accommodations to the most discerning person I know and hold her in high regard as a hostess.

This is our extended family's third visit to Windy Peaks, so that speaks to how much we enjoy the place. It is a very comfortable house in a beautiful setting that easily accommodates our family of 7 adults and 4 kids. Depending on the weather, we've enjoyed playing pickleball, ping pong, pool and board games; the very nice playground; sledding; fire pit; and skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of room for multiple cooks to work their magic. (It is on a mountain top so can get windy, though, thus "Windy Peaks".)

Being able to stay right on the lake was so nice. The use of the paddle boards and canoe was a bonus.

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rossanna’s place. The house was clean and amenable. The fire pit outside was lovely
