Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Stayed at Gaynor’s whilst working in the area. The flat was what we needed for our stay. Clean, comfortable & great communication from Gaynor. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Paddock. It’s in a very central position to explore beautiful Northumbria while being in a quiet and peaceful location in the countryside. Our host Maureen was very friendly and helpful. The Paddock was clean, decorated beautifully and suited us very well. There were a few kitchen items which Maureen provided when we asked for them. We would highly recommend the Paddock as a place to stay. Jim and Anne

Lovely cottage near our son. We know the Bay Horse well and like it very much.

A family of four, we stayed for two nights over Christmas, and it was perfect. We chose it for its location close to relatives first and foremost but we really enjoyed the apartment itself - great decor, really nicely finished and Michelle was brilliant at communicating. Nice secure parking and entrance, fab kitchen and lounge space. Highly recommend!

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) came over from Texas to visit some friends. We wanted a place all of us could stay at together and Sue’s place was absolutely perfect!! The house was spacious. The rooms were comfortable. I loved how much sunlight came in. We were quite sad to leave because it means our vacation here is coming to an end. But we loved staying in Barnard Castle.

We had an amazing stay - thank you so much. The property is in a perfect location for shops and beach and made a great base to explore the the surrounding area. The property itself is beautiful, well equipped and spotless. Super comfy beds! John and Joanne were amazing at communication and really helpful as we booked very last minute due to an issue with our previous accommodation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newbiggin. The house is a great base to explore the north east and we had days out to Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle, Cragside, Lindesfarne and Newcastle. There is so much to explore in that area - our kids didn’t want to leave! The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Nikki communicated promptly and personally and was a great host. The house was a 5 minute walk from the beach and there was a superb chippy nearby (the Front) which was so good we went twice! It was a bonus to have an overnight electric car charge point at the end of the road. Thank you - I imagine we will return!

Absolutely fantastic host, very responsive to our messages and was very flexible to accommodate our very late check in. Very understanding as we booked under difficult circumstances. Lovely spacious house and in immaculate condition.

A second week at Cheryl’s place and it was very comfortable. Just what we needed for a relaxing environment to come back to while working in the area.

what a beautiful flat in a stunning location. Had everything we needed and more and the hosts John and Rachael where amazing. Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung war geräumig, sauber und ordentlich, mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, in der man problemlos regelmäßig kochen kann. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert, auch die Dusche war schön groß. Supermarkt und Meer sind gut zu erreichen, und der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank!

Location was fantastic. 10 minutes away from visiting family.
