Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly environment. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. We had a wonderful stay and loved our weekend. Thank you for having us. Our dog friendly room was luxurious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the en-suite was gorgeous. Our bedroom patio doors opened onto decking and out onto an enclosed garden, perfectly safe for our little dog to go outside. The shared downstairs space was lovely, very comfortable and homely. The homemade cakes were literally the best we have ever tasted and the cooked breakfast (veggie) was perfect, on both days. Our walk from the B&B took us straight to chatsworth house to Baslow and back and was perfect. The pub next door had wonderful beer (wainwright) and nice red wine (Rioja) and the food on both nights was great, with a lovely fire and dog friendly. Chris and Caroline were the perfect hosts, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. All in all the perfect birthday weekend. Thank you

Brian was very friendly, communicative and accommodating. He prepared a delicious English Breakfast, with tea and milk provided during the stay. The room was comfortable and towels and amenities were provided, including tea, coffee, sugar , mugs, milk and a kettle in the room- the room also has a mini fridge which is very useful. The house is very close to the Harrogate Convention Centre and a short walk away from trains, buses and all that Harrogate has to offer. I really enjoy staying and getting to know the hosts, which made my experience easy, comfortable and very enjoyable.

Florence's location was just where I needed it to be for a brief, one night stay in Doncaster, and at a very reasonable cost. I did not spend much time at her place, but my room was comfortable enough and Florence was a lovely host. I greatly appreciated both the refrigerator and the fan in the room. Please note, for those like me who might be older - the room I stayed in is on the very top floor (up 3 flights of stairs), the bathroom is down 2 flights of stairs from the room, and the stall shower was not operational during my stay (but the climb-in tub did jhave a hand-held shower unit).

Juliette and Nick’s loft is a peaceful and comfortable space in a safe and affluent residential area of Bramhope. There is a lovely view through large windows looking out over gardens, fields and hills. The breakfast was generous and I enjoyed the nice toiletries. I also appreciated the plants, books, ornaments and thoughtful touches which made it a homely and welcoming place to be. Juliette and Nick were really hospitable and all communication beforehand was great too. We recommend the loft as a fab place to stay and look forward to returning ourselves one day.

Most enjoyable 2 night stay in a clean, friendly, well organised and homely place. All good - no negatives Andy very kindly sorted a problem I was having with car phone and maps. I now need to make sure to exercise the tips he gave me.!!!!!

Convenient location to the centre of Manchester. Everything as described in the listing. Whilst I didn’t get to meet Debbie, she was still in touch making sure my check-in through to check-out process was all smooth sailing.

la chambre était super encore.mieiwnqie ce que nous pensions. Tres bien équipée avec des prises USB et connexion wifi rapide literie confortable, très propre. la SDB pour la chambre était grande et c était appréciable de pouvoir utiliser la cuisine. jack est très sympathique et très disponible quand on lui demande un renseignement. La maison est au calme à 10 minutes du centre et à 20 minutes de l'ethiad stadium a pieds. Autour à 5 minutes il y a des bars restaurants bakery et supermarché, bref super emplacement ! on reviendra ici pour le prochain match de city !!

Angela was a great host and very quick to respond to messages. Good location, room was clean and bed very comfortable. Would recommend for people wanting to explore the peaks

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. Well i couldn’t recommend staying here enough great hosts who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome, I only really needed my clothes because they had everything you possibly needed and the bed was so comfy I usually struggle to sleep in hotels but had a great nights sleep there and the house in amazing full of character and so homely , if ever I go to Manchester again I will 100% stay there

Le logement de Joanna est très beau et très propre. Elle pense à de nombreuses petites chose utiles en voyage: sèche-cheveux, bouteille d’eau, mouchoirs,… ce qui est très agréable. La cuisine était aussi à disposition. La maison est à 15 minutes à pied de la gare, dans un quartier résidentiel hors du centre-ville.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Highly recommend. Claire's house is a gorgeous historic building with plenty of space (and as promised plenty of art!). She very kindly upgraded us to the ensuite room, just because it was empty. It was a really lovely space - spotlessly clean, bright and airy, with house plants on the mantle. The bathroom had a big cast iron tub and large shower. I was amazed at all the amenities in the bathroom - bath salts, oils and flannels as well as multiple types of body and hair washes. Claire herself was a fantasic host. She cooked us an incredible, plentiful, breakfast with what were clearly good farm shop quality ingredidents. She took the time to sit and chat with us and was a brilliant conversationalist (but also made sure we were running to the schedule we'd shared with her). She has a very uplifting personality. We would definitely stay here again. It's also worth mentioning that Tadcaster itself is a very pleasant and picturesque village with plenty of amenities.

Our Wild Rose Deluxe Room at The White Swan was wonderful- spotlessly clean, lovely decor and gorgeous bathroom with a great shower! Breakfast served in the pub with bacon sandwiches, juice and coffee was such a lovely touch as was the drinks tray with a nice range of drinks and biscuits. Finished to a high standard and a lovely bed! Our hosts were incredibly helpful with checking in, getting a local taxi and navigating the local area. Would highly recommend staying at The White Swan. It’s located in a beautiful area and is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful stay. Thank you!
