We really loved the place, and the host greeted at the arrival, the river was calm and very pleasant, mainly the bonfire next to it was awesome. Best part was we were able charge our EV. Will go again next time but take the Port Macquarie road instead of the gravel road ;)

Paula and Rik were lovely, responsive hosts who have created a beautiful space that felt like a cosy home. It had a lovely view of the water’s edge and we even managed to catch the sunrise! Great hosts and great room, we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely , spacious accommodation with peaceful view out the back (we want to come back when the weather's fine to try out the fire pit and toast the supplied marshmallows!). Penny was very friendly - supplied all manner of breakfast goodies and even baked a delicious banana bread! Fabulous location for walks around Gloucester and northern Barrington's - Polblue, The Firs, Honeysuckle trail, and the Hidden Treasure Track were some of our faves

Beatrice is an amazing host! She is communicative and friendly, and is a really nice person. I loved her cottage and the beautiful garden she has, which she maintains so well. I had a well rested and very comfortable stay at her place. The cottage is also well equipped. Her check-in instructions were so clear and helpful, and the information guide she has for her guests is also very handy and useful. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to explore Gloucester. Also, have to mention her dog Max - so adorable and energetic :)

A fantastic few nights away, and so close to Port Mac! At first we were a bit worried about privacy given proximity to the main house however was not an issue at all. Antonia and her husband were lovely to deal with, lots of helpful recommendations and great knowledge of the area. Lots of wildlife and plenty of beautiful lookouts, walking trails and waterfalls to look at! Recommend a 4WD for the unsealed roads in this area. Wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

A really top airbnb experience! The photos do not do it justice, it’s a beautiful space with loads of indoor and outdoor options to relax and take in the view. Highly recommended.

Very happy with our stay. Rod was proactive and very accommodating to our needs. Home was clean and well stocked. A great place to relax and slow down. 5 minute drive to beach and lots of different trails. Nice trail in backyard. 🦘🦇🐨

Helen is magnificent! My partner and I had car troubles and not only did she take our booking last minute so we weren’t sleeping overnight at a petrol station, she offered so much hospitality and kindness! Helen’s on Engel was clean, welcoming and everything we needed to turn a holiday on the brink of disaster around to enjoy the local surrounds and have somewhere fantastic to return to for the evenings. Such a beautiful and perfect location for our wedding night and the start of our married life! Lydia & John were so lovely and accommodating for us and even left us a special gift and lovely card! The place was lovely and peaceful, and the gorgeous beach just a walk away.. great pool aswell. So relaxing to hear the waves crashing! Would love to stay again 😊
