We stayed for a week in this Airbnb and we had the best time ever. The house has a stunning view over the rice fields and it feels like you’re in the middle of it. I have never seen this many beautiful colorful birds that are casually seen in the garden of the house. It was amazing and we have literally 0 complaints. Everything like it was described. The owner even brought us dinner once and showed us his family. We can definitely recommend this place. Pro tip for dinner: go to Sashadi restaurant it’s 2 minutes walking distance from the Airbnb and it has the best local food we had in all of Sri Lanka! Thank you for the beautiful week.

Vi tilbragte 5 dage med 3 børn i huset. Det er en fantastisk naturoplevelse at bo i dette hus. Det er endnu smukkere i virkeligheden med udsigt udover kogalasøen. Der er virkelig mange smukke fugle i haven og hver dag så vi en stor flok aber, som kom forbi. Huset er omkranset af kanelplantager og smuk frodig natur. Kumaro er en fantastisk hjælpsom mand, som hjalp os med alverdens ting, mens vi boede i huset. Huset passede fint til en familie på fem. Der er mange gode strande i nærheden af huset (man tager en tuk tuk dertil). Vi tog også på hvalsafari fra huset, så der er masser af muligheder. Vi vil helt klart anbefale dette hus til andre, der gerne vil bo tæt på naturen i et roligt område.

The Lakeview Villa is a stunning, secluded (despite being not so far away from the closest town) property. Garden is extremely well kept, the interior is well thought out giving the building soul which other more modern villas usually lack. I could spend days marveling the view from the pool. The staff are kind and welcoming. Lesley is a great host, responsive at all times. And my favorite part of the stay - Sonali’s cooking - she is a master of her craft and treated us to dishes leaps and bounds ahead of anything else we ate on the island. The food itself is worth the visit to the house. Do not hesitate to book this property!

My two girlfriends and I had the best time at Koratuwa Villa, from the beginning to the end. The villa is beautiful, especially the garden and pool. We spent every morning with a dip and went back out in the evening to watch the stars (and fireflies!) from the loungers. The rooms were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom - the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! The hosts were so kind, friendly and super communicative. I arranged a meal for our first night which was a godsend as we were exhausted after a big day of travelling, and it was delicious. Cham was so helpful every step of the way, responding to all of our questions and arranging travels and tours to make the most of our stay. The location is perfect - it's super quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle, but you can be at Dikwella or Hiriketiya in 10m by tuktuk (which Cham can arrange for you). One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Already planning the next visit! Thank you!!

Ranjith ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, immer um seine Gäste bemüht und besorgt. Die Villa mit dem wunderschönen und für uns, perfekten Garten ist schwer zu toppen. Geetha versorgt den Garten sehr liebevoll und unaufdringlich. Die Ausstattung mit den Ventilatoren auf der Terrasse und Klimaanlagen im Haus ist sehr durchdacht. Auch die Beleuchtung sorgt für sehr angenehme Stimmung. Wir haben uns schweren Herzens von Ranjith, Geetha und der wunderschönen Villa getrennt.

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

Upul and his family are the nicest hosts. They helped out with everything we needed and made amazing breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price. It was much better than the near by restaurants. The location has a great pool and just a few minute walk from the beach. Our favourite beach was silent beach which is 5 minute by tuktuk. Be aware that Sri Lankan nature is around you so don’t be afraid of little insects. We’ve seen peacocks and iguanas in the garden. Overall we had a really good time.

The Green House is a little oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Sri Lanka. Immaculately presented with three great bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, the house is clean and modern. All the staff involved in looking after us and the house were also a real delight - so accommodating and helpful in every aspect. a short walk to a wonderful beach which the kids loved made this one of the best places that we stayed in during our whole trip.
