Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

Surfer review- Lots of great surf zones with very kind local surfers. If you respect the line up you will be happily welcomed by most. Bare wires surf shop is rents multiple brands, shapes, and sizes of hard boards and soft tops. it's $10 cheaper than the one down the road from the hotel and much more "core". Perfect budget hotel. Very welcoming. Bars close by. Front porch is a great spot to have a drink and unwind. No bar on site but this is a great spot for respectful adults who like to have a few drinks, feel safe, and get to bed. Highly recommend.

We Love The Box House! As a former NYC resident, it's not easy to find a spot that feels like home when returning to the city. Much less, a spot that feels nicer than home! This was my second stay at The Box House, and I don't think I'll be booking anywhere else for future trips back to the city. They are easily my #1 choice. The rooms are sparkling clean, beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and have great views of the city. It's so lovely to come back to a hotel at the end of a long day, and to be taken care of by staff who truly care. I'm just as happy going out as I am staying in, which I think is the mark of a truly great place. Thank you, Box House Hotel! See you soon. :)

I almost wish i hadn't seen the photos - the Flophouse is unique, quirky and beautiful. René was very thorough and responsive and his friend who looked after the place in his absence was lovely. This was a wonderful place to come home to because it felt like home, not a sterile hotel room. Thank you René and Felipe

The place is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the river, we always returned around midnight and felt calm walking back. The rooms are clean and just like the photos. The metro station is a 10-minute walk away. A new jacket we had bought disappeared and no one took responsibility. If there is an event or party in the hotel, a lot of noise can be heard in the rooms. In general, it was a good place to stay and we had a window with an incredible view of the city.

I really enjoyed my stay here and I will definitely be coming back to this location.

The Asbury Hotel is a great place to stay. Room was clean and comfy. Check-in was easy. Loved the bar and the live music. The paninis at the deli were yummy. Could've used a bit more direction via AirBnB app / message platform on how the check-in worked, but once we arrived at the hotel all was pretty straight forward and the staff we're helpful and friendly. Over all, a great stay down the shore!

Nice hotel with pool and rooms a little more bigger than common rooms in nyc. Very clean. Excellent hotel. If I had to point out something to improve, it would be the food options.

Chef Step was a great host! He was incredibly accommodating and super kind. I ended up getting food poisoning and he made me tea and got me some medicine which was very much appreciated. The first morning that we were there, he even cooked for us - chicken and waffles 10/10. I would 1000% stay with Chef Step next time I am in NYC.

This was the second time i stayed at the belmar inn. Its close to great beaches and is walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. The hotel is clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Good to have two bathrooms. Space is tight in the living area but to be expected in NYC. Decor a little tired which detracted from first impression of the apartment but overall we were very happy with our stay. Responsive helpful hosts. Really enjoyed our time in the Lower East Side!

easy place to stay and easy access to the shore points

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place — it had everything we needed, and it was easy enough to get to other areas of Brooklyn, by train or citibike. She was very responsive and we appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out due to our travel schedule. The bedroom faces the street so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper, but we were fine for the most part. And, of course, Sana the cat was so friendly and certainly added to the stay!

We stayed as a family of 4. It was easy to get in and out of Manhattan on the subway and easy to find good places to eat nearby. Would stay again!
