We had a wonderful stay here! The place was very clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful personal touches that made it feel extra welcoming. There were multiple air conditioners, heaters, and fans throughout the unit, so it was easy to get the temperature just right no matter what the weather was like. I also really appreciated the snacks and coffee that were provided — it’s clear that every little detail was carefully thought out to make guests feel at home. One thing to be aware of: the stairs leading up to the unit are a pretty narrow and a littlr steep, so just be prepared to carry your luggage up. It wasn’t a big issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you are bringing a large suitcase. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again!

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Memphis! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and it was a short drive to all the main attractions. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Whispering Oak Secret Hideaway was perfect! Mark was the best, most attentive, kindest host ever. He provided 4 pages of handwritten suggestions for dining and local attractions as well as two binders full of curated information about Memphis for our use. The cottage was spotlessly clean with every amenity: homemade pumpkin bread, luxury linens, soft drinks, water, coffees, teas, soaps, shampoos, lotions, phone chargers - anything you could possibly need was provided. Mark checked in with us several times to make sure our visit was going well. We loved the midtown location! Everything was close by. The porch and the back patio are the perfect places to enjoy a drink in the late afternoon. The bed was extremely comfortable , and the spa like bathroom was lovely. We hope to stay again if we return to Memphis. I felt as if I was in an upscale resort. A+++ host and housing.

Ann and her place are fantastic! This is exactly what Abnb is all about. A private individual providing a warm, comfortable place, full of interest and individuality. Extra touches, such as a well stocked fridge, a full fruit bowl and home made banana bread. One of the best. Michael

This place was probably the cleanest Airbnb we've ever experienced. And also the best organized and appointed kitchen hands down. We would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood is lovely for walking, gorgeous houses with sloping lawns and large trees iconic to Memphis. Sara is an attentive but not intrusive host. We parked around the corner on the street because we drive a longbed Tacoma. Had zero trouble with that.
