Great location very close to the train station. The instructions for check-in were clear, and the view was amazing. The room was 5 stories up, but we were aware of that when we booked. The only downsides were that it was noisy with the cars on the street below. The host was friendly and communicative. He was well organized with the check-in information and gave lots of local recommendations. He also was fairly quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall I would recommend this place if you are looking to stay and explore Ito!

Cozy and comfortable place with an amazing location. Also came with a complimentary ticket for the hot spring near the place. Host was very accommodating and kind.

年越しで5日間お世話になりました！ 4歳の娘もいたのですが、ステップ台があったり、子供用の食器があったり、お庭にはトランポリン、ボール、ブランコ、バドミントンがあったりと、暇になることなく家族で楽しめました！ 両親も一緒でしたが寝室も２階に２部屋あるので、睡眠空間も快適でした！ お庭には柑橘類がたくさん実っていて、みかん狩り～と楽しく取らせてもらい美味しく頂きました😋 ありがとうございました！

大人8人、子ども2人、3家族で宿泊させていただきました。お部屋も清潔で、寒い日の宿泊でしたが、部屋全体が暖かく、快適に過ごせました。海、駅、コンビニ、マック、温泉も徒歩圏内で、アクセスも良く、近くに美味しいケーキ屋さんもありました。初めての利用でしたが、とてもご丁寧にご連絡いただくなど、とても良い旅行の思い出が出来ました。

Tolle, ruhige, moderne und saubere Unterkunft mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer! Man hat alles vor Ort was man brauchen kann und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war top! Wir haben tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants und Shopping erhalten. Schade, dass wir nur so kurz bleiben konnten! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay — peaceful, beautifully kept, and filled with the warmth of a Japanese home. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect as well, with breathtaking views of the sunrise right from the window — a magical way to start each day. Our host was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They took the time to share local travel tips and even helped us plan our sightseeing route, which made our experience all the more special. We had a wonderful stay at Mitsuko’s house, and the view on the sea was amazing! The house is comfortable to stay for longer periods, with more than enough cooking utensils, cutlery and plates and cups for cooking. Definitely visit the local hotspring, and Manyo park in Yugawara for a relaxed day out. There are also some local busses for commuting to the nearest supermarkets.

A beautifully designed comfortable stay in Shimoda. The house was better than the photos, plenty of space for our family with everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. Would stay again!

ホストの方のとても親切な対応のおかげで快適な時間を過ごすことができました。BBQの用意や寝具の用意も全てやってくださり、くつろぐことができました。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。

Great stay! Strong internet/ WiFi. Close to downtown. Free bike use. Easy checkin, good communication l, and clean apartment. I stayed to go surfing nearby and they had parking available for my car.

Very good place to stay! The beach is just a short 5 minute walk which we very much enjoyed. The view from the balcony is great. Not a whole lot of places to eat nearby but there is a full kitchen to cook with. We also stayed during typhoon and host was very responsive and let us stay an extra day as the trains were suspended.

I booked in the late winter so the greenery wasn't quite as verdant as the photo, but that's understandable. The condo with tatami sleeping area comes well-equipped with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, and sit-down outdoor gas grill on the patio for DIY teppanyaki. Note that access from the bus from Shimoda (which runs every hour or two) is best using the 2nd driveway (it has big "BBQ ⇧" painted on it); also there is currently a 9:24AM bus back which worked out great for the 10:15 Odoriko express back to Kanagawa-ken. I didn't try the adjacent BBQ restaurant with "Taco Cabana" (sounded great) but hope to the next time I get back to this very scenic part of Japan.

３世代５人で宿泊しました。スタッフの方々がフレンドリーかつ柔軟、思いやりがあり、でも過剰さがない洗練されたバランスで、高齢の両親も、子どもたちも、初めからとてもリラックスして楽しむことができました。レストラン＆カフェがある１階から階段を上り、２階が２室の宿になっています。部屋は広々とした空間で、シンプルでモダン、寝具やアメニティーは、使い心地と環境への配慮を感じました。部屋から全面ガラスのオーシャンビューが広がり、バルコニーではソファに寝転んで夜風と虫の声、海の音を聞きながら星を眺め、ゆったりと贅沢な時間を過ごすことができました。キッチン周りは必要かつ十分に整い、食材や調味料を持ち込んで料理できます。ナイフ類も頼めば借りられるかもしれません。砂浜で夜、朝と静かに散歩ができ、目の前から出る水上バスで、清水の中心市街地もすぐでした。１階のレストランもいい雰囲気で、マリーンスポーツも楽しそうでした。次は利用してみたいと思います。

まさに非日常でした。次は連泊しようと思います。
