The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. "Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Wintergreen Cabin #1 on Moen Lake Chain

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

If you are looking for a little getaway, check out this beautiful cabin. Located on the Jersey Flowage (Tomahawk River) Just mins from Downtown Tomahawk, Lake Nokomis, and Lake Mohawksin, across the street from Halfmoon Lake. All utilities are included in your rental price, even Wi-Fi. Completely furnished w/ 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, TV, charcoal or gas grill, spacious kitchen and living room, dock, v-haul boat lift, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit. ATV and snowmobile trails nearby.

KING'S COTTAGE

King’s Cottage is located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the perfect place for outdoor adventures any time of the year. Hikers and bikers can enjoy routes like the Bearskin Trail. Kayakers and canoers can explore nearby lakes and waterways. Guests can explore Oneida County’s vast lakes and winter enthusiasts will find easy access to great trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The cottage is located on 235 acres with two spring-fed lakes.

Farmhouse Cottage on Lake Minocqua

Our cottage on Lake Minocqua is ideally located to enjoy the walkability and atmosphere of island life! Keep your boat at our pier during your stay and enjoy the chain of lakes, stroll around town, or simply sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! We think you'll love this island gem!

Phelps Seclusion

Private setting in the woods close to Phelps. Great for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, and snow shoeing or just hanging out with friends and family. A full bathroom with shower. 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size bunk beds sleeps 8. Pets welcome, especially hunting dogs. A circle driveway that accommodates 2 or more boat or snowmobile trailers. We even had a trucker with a 53 foot trailer park here.
