Chalets in Mississippi River

If you need a place to stay in Waterloo, I'm convinced that this is THE place you need to stay. Even if you are visiting a nearby town, definitely consider this airbnb as your base. It would also make a perfect getaway weekend from St. Louis. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Quiet, with any amenity you could want right on the property. Highly recommend.

Stay was great was a good vibe and nice scenery. Love the trees and tranquility of the neighborhood. Stay wasn’t really luxury but more of regular home just situated in forestry area. Only great thing was scenery. Propane grill caught fire due to a bad propane leak on grill. I’m certified in fire safety. There was no fire extinguisher on site which is very dangerous. Really wanted to use grill. Was able to extinguish fire without extinguisher. This air bnb was missing crucial things. Dishwasher didn’t work , hand washed dishes whole time. Dryer didn’t work air dried clothes. Windows don’t have any privacy can see straight into room. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. WiFi and Tv were a joke (didn’t work). Overall property still had nice vibes and resort is amazing.

My friends and I booked the Cabin of Contentment for a book club weekend retreat and Kim's place was perfect! The space is so cozy and felt right at home. We cooked all of our own meals so the fully stocked kitchen was a huge benefit. There was enough space for our whole group to eat together in the kitchen and sit together in the great room or basement for a movie. Kim is a very responsive and responsible host. We ran into a few small bumps and had questions during our stay and her responses were quick and accommodating. I'd highly recommend staying here even in the winter months. Our book club is already discussing booking the cabin for next year!

Beautiful place hidden in the woods. Easy starting point for a day trip to Duluth or Brainerd with some great restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive.

We loved our 3rd stay at Mia’s Black Dog Lodge. It is very clean and well-supplied. The lodge fits our needs for a small ladies retreat perfectly.

Greg’a place was very clean with a lovely view of the river. The heated floors and useable fireplace made the space extra special. Would stay here again.

Loved! So glad we chose this location. Exactly as photographed and described. Exceptionally clean, bed was super comfortable, plenty of space, fully stocked kitchen and the setting was so peaceful. Just a short 2 mile drive from downtown Bayfield. Instruction manual was super informative, including photos, and recommendations. Website included complete and updated information about the surrounding area. Hosts were professional and responsive. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place for relaxation and time with family. The hot tub and sauna made it feel like a spa. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Very comfortable home with areas to relax and watch the view. Nicely decorated. Beautiful view of the sunset from the dock. Lots of things to do in the basement to keep everyone entertained. Spacious kitchen for cooking meals.

The stay was AMAZING! Will was phenomenal and always quick to respond. The house was beautiful and had so many amenities that made the stay so enjoyable! My family definitely plans on coming back!

This lakefront property on Lake Lucy was perfect for our family of 6! The location offered the quintessential Northwoods experience, just minutes from downtown Minocqua. Our kids loved sledding and building snow forts on the ice and the sunroom was ideal for morning coffee. The well-equipped kitchen made family meals a breeze. Having 3 bedrooms + loft gave everyone enough space, and the open-concept living area meant we could all spend time together comfortably. The views of the lake through the large windows were stunning, especially at sunset. Very clean and the host was responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful lake getaway in the Northwoods!

The chalet was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here for a multi-generational family vacation and everyone felt at home. The teens loved the basement, my dad enjoyed fishing on the dock, and my kiddos were accommodated with lots of toddler care items. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Goose Lake Chalet and would love to come back during the warmer summer months!

The River House is very clean and well appointed. Luke was a great host, very kind and accommodating.

We loved Ben’s place! It had the cutest little area for little ones to play in or sleep in. We appreciated one of the bedrooms being on the main floor. Open concept was nice for us an and our toddler grand children. There was a pac and play high chair and baby gate Ben was super helpful and friendly , would love to try one of his other properties!

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place! The property is beautiful. Lots of space both inside the house and outside for our family gathering of 11 to spread out. We went for Thanksgiving. It was cold, but there was still plenty to do - hike, sing around the campfire, enjoy heater on back porch, game room and movies inside. Tom was responsive and happy to help when we had questions! Book it - you’ll love it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views are absolutely incredible and the A-frame is absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay for a girls’ weekend. Had so many amenities and more we weren’t expecting! Clean, cozy, cute and packed with fun for the whole family. We all want to bring our husbands and kids back sometime. Very pleasant host to work with as this was my first AirBNB, will be hard to beat!

Great place for a family vacation.

This was the best airbnb experience I've had in a while. Clearly Long Lake is made for summer fun, but I didn't feel like I was missing out as I have when I've stayed at other homes in the colder/off-season months. The lake was stunning. The hiking & bike trails were accessible & wonderful year round. I really loved the fireplace in the home. Building a big fire & watching the lake out the picture windows after working or hiking or exploring was just the best. The bed was cozy. The main floor of the home were inviting & felt like my place. I didn't get home sick at all. I really loved it! Check it out!

Kyle and Tara were wonderful hosts! They were very accommodating, attentive and welcoming!! We were able to host thanksgiving for my family with ease and had everything we needed to prepare the meal. The lake house is a very cozy and welcoming home that is very well cared for! Thank you so much to our hosts!

My family and I used this location for spring break and we had a blast. We were able to light a fire, use the boats, and jacuzzi. The place was very clean. Any issues (which was very few) were addressed imediately. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful stay! Jill was an amazing host, and communication with her was very easy. The house was spotless and beautifully designed. The location is private and peaceful, with stunning views. My kids spent hours fishing off the dock and caught plenty of fish (which they released back). One thing to note: the stairs was a bit challenging for my three years old, so keep that in mind if you’re coming with young kids or elderly guests. Despite that it was perfect! We would love to come back! 😊

Beautiful cabin and fabulous property. Our family of 5 and dog stayed for a long weekend and it was amazing. Brad was a great host, extremely responsive. The home was absolutely as listed and we would definitely recommend to others. We can’t wait to come back again.
