Barn with magnificent views of the mountains

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Chalet Salamandre

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

Appartement de charme sous les toits avec belle hauteur sous plafond, équipé du Très haut Débit et en centre ville avec toutes les commodités, au cœur du Pays Cathare avec ses châteaux à découvrir, ses belles randonnées et son patrimoine exceptionnel (grottes de Lombrives, de Niaux, du Mas d'Azil, la rivière souterraine de Labouiche...). Situé au pied des montagnes, avec une station de ski familiale à 15 kms (Les Monts d'Olmes) , et à une heure de route de Carcassonne, Toulouse, Andorre.

Le gite est situé dans un quartier très calme au pied du plateau de Beille( ski de fond et randonnée), à 500m du centre de Les Cabannes (supérette,boulangerie, pharmacie, restaurant...), 40 km du pas de la case, 15km d Ax les thermes( station de ski et thermoludisme). Maison fraichement rénovée par nos soins; au rez de chaussé une grande pièce ouverte avec cuisine toute équipée, à l' étage deux jolies chambres dont une avec vue sur le Quié de Sinsat et une salle de bain toute neuve.

Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.
