Vakantiewoningen met buitenterras in Montserrat

Unfortunately, I can’t honestly review Tom & Chrystal’s place. Tom had reached out a couple of weeks prior to inform me that due to scheduling issue, he had made arrangements for us stay at another villa, which was absolutely amazing! By chance we ran into Tom and family at the local dive shop, and we ended up eating lunch together. Everything I had come to learn online was met in person: kind, friendly, funny, generous… Good people, and we count ourselves lucky to have gotten to spend time with them. So, even though I can’t speak about Crow’s Nest in Woodlands, I can say my interactions with Tom and Chrystal were 100% positive, and I would happily stay at their place at the next opportunity.

We had a lovely stay. Everton and the property manager, Dwayne, were really helpful and responsive via email. We were given the property address and various helpful instructions well in advance of our stay, which made finding the property easy when we arrived. The villa itself is beautiful. There’s so much indoor space and a lovely terrace off the kitchen. The pool was lovely, a great temperature and very clean. Wilson popped around twice during our two-week stay to keep it clean and maintain the terrace tiles too. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was everything you needed to cook with. There were cleaning materials too. The bathroom even had a hair dryer which was unexpected! All furniture was very practical and comfortable, the mattresses were very comfortable and bedding provided was great. There were even pool towels! The location was perfect, a couple of minutes’ drive from Woodlands Beach and Salem and within easy reach of the rest of the island.

Elena's place was really lovely and her uncle and aunt, who checked us in, were very welcoming and understanding when we arrived later than we had initially said but couldn't inform them because data wasn't working on our phones. They also took us in the car to show us the nearest supermarket and restaurants and gave us tips on the area. The wifi didn't work on the first evening as there was a problem island wide and the engineer hadn't shown up that day, but it was quickly resolved the following day. Communication was very smooth throughout the entire process. Our neighbours, a lovely couple who are long term tenants in the flat below the one we stayed in, were extremely friendly and helpful - one day they even brought us some guineps (Spanish limes) which were delicious. St John's, like all of Montserrat, was full of very lovely and welcoming people. And it's a great location from where you can easily get to any part of the island.

The property is nicely equipped with all the amenities and comforts of home and outdoor living. The sunsets are spectacular, the surroundings lush and the sea pristine. For calm, rejuvenation and getting in touch with oneself, this is the perfect place. Repeat future visits are a certainty.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sharra's and would highly recommend her studio for anyone visiting Montserrat. It's very conveniently located. Sharra has been very kind in helping us finding a car to rent and providing many suggestions.

The host Lyandra and the on-site manager Sidney are so nice and incredibly accommodating. They made me feel very welcome. The outside patio space is the star of the property. The views are fantastic from the patio! You can watch the sun set right from the deck. The inside is a little smaller than I was expecting but it's perfectly fine for one person or even a couple that doesn't need a lot of space.

Sharra was a great host, verry responsive and the place is one of the nicest places for a short stay in Montserrat; modern, clean and well equipped. (I didn't want to leave such a great review because next time I go to Montserrat, Urban Retreat will be all booked up!!) joking aside, its the best place I have stayed in when in Montserrat (short business trips, not vacation). best, David.

Really nice place. Beautiful surroundings with yummy fresh mangoes to pick when they are in season. Also fresh coconut water if someone is good enough to get one down for you and cut it open. Owner Gary is accommodating and helpful. It's in a beautiful area within walking distance to some restaurants, grocery, lime Kiln beach and Salem. Montserrat is a beautiful island so just visit....you won't be disappointed.

Gary, our host, had a smile that lit up the entire villa mango. The villa as very tastefully decorated with views that are what people dream of. Gary said "Mi Casa, Your Casa" and he meant it. we helped ourselves to delicious coffee in the a.m. to sip by the most gorgeous blue tiled swimming pool. I will NEVER forget my experience in Montserrat. I went there to see the St Patricks Day parade but hated to leave the Villa. Thank you Gary and cousin who runs the place also.
