We had a fantastic time at this apartment, it is as grand as it looks in the photos!! Very comfortable beds, lovely lounge area. Great location to dry out after getting soaked in the rain! Excellent location, two minutes from lots of very good cafes and restaurants and a daily market in the square. Easy walk to the main centre and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace! Elly communicated throughout and made sure we checked in safely as our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay again!

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Il Giardino del Uglivi is really a comfortable place to stay. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and everything was perfect. The description on Airbnb is exactly what we saw during our stay. Two big bedrooms and a huge living area. Perfect bathrooms! It’s important to mention the garden. It was so good for our kids. They enjoyed the playground and the table tennis! About the location, it’s a 10 minute drive to Cortona. But for those with children, Camucia has great playgrounds around 3 minutes by car! Don’t miss them! Certainly we will come back to Giardino del Uglivi as soon as possible!

Sin dal principio ci siamo resi conto che sarebbe andato tutto bene. Host disponibile e precisa. Appartamento carino, ordinato, pulito a due passi dalla chiesa di santa Maria degli angeli e da un supermercato. Abbiamo parcheggiato il van sotto casa (dove ci sono negozietti e tabacchi); in casa pentole, stoviglie, biancherie, saponi. Un terrazzo ottimo visto che siamo con il bimbo. L’host ci ha addirittura fornito un triciclo per far giocare il piccolo. La casa si compone di due camere da letto grandi (una con letto matrimoniale, una con un letto alla francese più un lettino) e una cameretta con lettino singolo. Ci sono due bagni ciascuno ne con doccia (uno nella vasca). Per noi (cinque adulti e un bimbo) è stata una soluzione ideale. Massima disponibilità da parte della host per gli orari di check in e check out. Consiglio vivamente

We spent a glorious and relaxing week at Sarchianello and could not recommend it more. The location was perfect for day trips to local places like Siena and Montalcino, and it was the ideal place to return to for an evening of eating and drinking. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave! It truly felt like a home away from home.
