Our stay in Bauple, QLD, was a wonderful experience! Nestled in a quiet and picturesque setting, this charming town provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The fresh air, stunning natural scenery, and warm hospitality of the locals made our visit truly memorable. We loved exploring the surrounding area, including the beautiful parks and nature reserves. The history of Bauple, known as the birthplace of the macadamia nut, added an interesting touch to our trip. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Queensland, Bauple is definitely worth a visit. We would love to return and explore even more of what this lovely place has to offer! A special mention to Sean and Sarah’s place—we absolutely loved it! Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and the peaceful surroundings created the perfect retreat. The attention to detail and comfort in their space made our stay even more enjoyable.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful with modern appliances and a priceless view and location. Waking up each morning to the views of the beautiful property and cattle was stunning. The amenities and cottage were modern and extremely cosy and comfortable. Karen went out of her way to organise not only a massage but the perfect picnic and location for my engagement proposal. Karen organised a photographer and a wonderful array of food and bubbles for the occasion. Myself and my fiancée couldn’t have been happier and more thrilled with the set up! A truly wonderful spot and fantastic hosts - would recommend this stay for any couple looking for a relaxing or weekend getaway! Would definitely recommend for a proposal or special occasion! Second time staying with Leanne. We were only there to sleep but everything is easy at this place. Checkin is easy, the place offers some bonus entertainment in the garage so we had fun playing Darts, the facilities are suitable and beds are fine, and only 10min out of town. Thanks for hosting Leanne!

Cute and cosy little cabin on a beautiful and peaceful property. Everything was clean and comfortable. Peter was a great communicator. I would definitely recommend if you have a group of people.

What an incredible stay! The wooden cabin was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable! We were surrounded by rainforests, mountains and valleys, with lots of clearly mapped out trails on the property to explore and the horses came to say hello every afternoon and were happy to take a little snack! (I would recommend bringing apples/carrots to feed the horses they’ll become your best friends!) It’s just endless peace at hope valley, the only sounds you can hear are the birds singing, the creek babbling and the leaves rustling in the wind -with the occasional moo in the distance ❤️ we loved our stay and hope to return in the near future

Wendy is a lovely host who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as ideal as possible. The area is such a beautiful and peaceful place with lots of space to roam and animals galore :) I loved the calm space to decompress and my furry freeloaders enjoyed exploring and smelling all the new smells. We hope to visit again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Trena and Steve’s! It was even better than we expected - the sheltered outdoor nook was such a peaceful bonus. Everything was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We’d very much love to come back again for some recharge time.
