This tastefully decorated small cottage is conveniently located just three blocks to downtown Highlands. Just a 10-12 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. At 4000+ feet & only a 10 min walk to town on the Rhododendron Trail. Totally renovated 2017!! Light & sunny 3 bed/2 bath, 750 sq. ft. Originally built by my wife's g-grandmother in the 1940's. Floor to ceiling shiplap, 17 ft. ceilings, hardwoods, reclaimed barn wood, custom fixtures, heated marble/slate bath floors, tankless water heater, gas fireplace, porch, Wifi, TV, washer/dryer, kitchenette. Beautiful gardens! Classic Highlands charm with modern comforts! Hike, fish, shop, or relax!

Creekside Cottage

Looking for an affordable mountain getaway to do a little fishing, relaxing, or just need a break from your hectic everyday life? Want something comfortable and unique!? This creek side Cottage is an open loft 2 bedroom home on the creek with a 3 person hammock,hot tub, firepit and charcoal parkside grill. It was built in the early 60's and has had a big transformation! While keeping its unique charm. I love saving and restoring older places and this was a fun project!

A spacious cottage with gorgeous Mountain Views!

If your idea of a vacation is serenity and relaxation, then the Deerfield Cottage is for you. The property sits on 12 acres, nestled in the Wayah valley just six miles from historical Franklin, NC. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.

Cade's Place, hot tub, close to Clayton

Cade’s Place cottage is our restored guest cottage at Shady Oaks Farm. We have kept a rustic theme but have the modern comforts of today including wifi, usb ports, heat/ac, a large patio with an hot tub and a cozy gas fireplace. We are located 3 miles from the trendy shops and fabulous restaurants of downtown Clayton. 7 miles north of Tallulah Falls. Wineries, distilleries, golf courses, boating, waterfalls and hiking are also nearby.
