Bird’s Haven Guesthouse - Hunters Lodge

We have a beautiful and relaxing garden full of life, the best food in town, entertainment for children, a Croc tour on the farm and a Curio shop for the shoppers. We are a fully registered B & B with 5 double rooms on the outskirt of Swakopmund. The accommodation at the Alternative Space B&B is NOT RECOMMENDED for those that are miserable, or finds pictures of families, nudity, same sex and mixed race relationships, offensive. Please not that we are not centrally located and we are not at the beach front. We provide free parking and breakfast is included in the price.

The Priory: Upstairs Terrace room B&B

Beautiful room opening onto a private terrace, where you can gaze at the famous Bethesda night sky. Can be made up as a twin room on request. Ideal for a family when booked with the Priory Downstairs Garden Room. The bathroom is accessed via an external staircase. Our rate includes a delicious breakfast, which is served from our on-site Tower Café. Dinners are available on request, at the time of booking.

Your artist hostess designed and furnished the cottage so expect quality yet quirky, uncluttered decor. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and light and overlooks a large organic garden. With its own access and safe off-street parking your privacy is guaranteed. Recently added free Wi-Fi, and a solar system with back up gas geyser which means I don't depend on the national grid for power.

Carmel Villa has been endorsed with the "Highly Recommended" status by the AA. Carmel Villa was built in 1904 and is known as "Calvinia's Monument of Love". Beautiful newly renovated Victorian house with great historical architecture and history, a rare gem. Close to City Centre, Tourism Info Office, Restaurants, Museum & Nature Reserve and nice stay over on the way to Kgalagadi.
