Instead, the stone walls and timber beams of a 1946 mountain lodge come into view—rustic, welcoming, and timeless.

Tellico Plains Inn, Boutique Hotel, The Babcock

The Babcock Room is the largest room in the entire Inn, and the only room on the first floor. The Babcock Room has a king bed and a futon. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. The room has its own ductless heating and cooling unit, 55" smart TV, console/desk and chairs, k-cup coffee machine and a mini fridge. Although rehabbed in 2023, The Tellico Plains Inn was originally established in 1916 and is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway.

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The Violet Room is equipped with 2 queen beds and has one of the best views in the Lodge with 3 large windows overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. This room is on our lower floor. This is a private room within our Lodge. Guests do have access to our Great Room where there is a pool table and use of our Grand Patio where you can enjoy your coffee from our complimentary coffee bar. The Great Room and Patio are common spaces.
