Property as described in a beautiful location and pass the keys were very responsive and helpful before, during and after our stay.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We instantly felt at home when we walked through the front door. The place has everything you need and feels spacious. There is plenty of storage for clothes and hangers which is lovely. Emma is so helpful. I asked a few questions before my stay and she was so helpful and quick to get back to me. Emma is very honest on the listing about the road traffic noise which we found very helpful. We knew what to expect. It might be helpful to know that the traffic is a mixture of cars and HGVs and that it does continue in the night although with less frequency. But it doesn’t detract from what is a beautiful home and a very peaceful stay!!

We had a lovely few days at Rowan Tree Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and was equipped with everything you need for a confortable break. Our daughters especially loved the easter eggs in the Welcome Pack which was lovely touch for our Easter Break. Jane is a great host and very communicative from booking to check in and onwards. She also bakes a great victoria sponge :) We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We wanted a week away to recharge our batteries and this place was great. Lovely cottage, decorated to a very high standard in a fantastic location. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough

Rachael has a top AirBnB rating because her place is superbly located and thoughtfully set-up. The cottage is very light, spacious, super comfortable and clean, and has all that you could want for a relaxing stay. Standout details are the list of walks and places to eat and drink, the views from the house, the really well equipped kitchen – and not forgetting Rachael’s greeting with a tin of home baked brownies, 2 ponies and 2 dogs! And the stag with antlers running in the next field… We will be booking our next stay at Rachael and Gerry’s cottage soon and hope to book the neighbouring Stables Cottage and superb looking cabin too for a visit with family.

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! Would definitely come back and have recommended to my friends. Wishing you all the best! Thank you!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

Lovely place to stay, secluded, private and beautiful. Had all the items needed to make this a home from home, well stocked kitchen, wood for the fire and a lovely welcome pack. Hosts were really responsive but not intrusive and the facilities on site are excellent. Family of four, we’d highly recommend this property.
