This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

Amazing location in downtown NC!

Paul’s place is spacious and inviting. The quiet woodsy location was serene but still accessible to town and our daughter was absolutely bananas for the zip line!

Good stay for the price, I would stay again. Nice quiet dead end street. Beautiful oak trees. Enjoyed walking in the park. Large dining hall with computer desk. Close to town, but still quiet. There’s 2 park gates across the street, one in each direction. But beware of the many large dogs often off leash inside the park. I appreciated not having an attached kitchen to the room, it made the room extra quiet (mini fridges buzzing in hotel rooms can be loud). I’m autistic and my nervous system could actually rest here. Soft bed. It is community living and sound travels, it was minimal but sometimes temporarily annoying. Some furniture was worn down but adequately covered. For women staying here: there are no deadbolts or security locks aside from the keypad, and the room door to the hallway opens outwards so an extra hotel security lock won’t work here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a mountain biking getaway and absolutely loved it! The home was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful outdoor lighting at night, which created a magical atmosphere among the trees. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and check-in was quick and seamless. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our boys loved the upstairs room with the two twin beds (although if they were smaller I might have worried about them on the stairs, as there is no railing for the last several steps). We loved the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, and enjoyed not having to use our car at all once we arrived— plenty to see and do in walking distance, including a nice park for the dog and kids. Spent a nice and relaxing girls weekend here. This stay is definitley somones home and not just an off the shelf air bnb stay. it had everything we needed and more, including a pre heated hot tub, robes, plush towels and some of the most comfortable beds!! We would most definatley stay here or at any of Ben's other listing's.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

Cute and cozy cottage. I had a great visit. Would stay here again in the future. It was pretty chilly when I visited, so I recommend packing slippers or socks for the wood floor that gets cold. I loved the gas fireplace.

It was a great stay that can host 10+ people. It’s in the woods, quite surrounding and just off the freeway. Home has all the facilities. As we went during winter time, we didn’t venture out.

My girlfriends and I had a lovely time in NV City over the Easter weekend. Everything was perfect:the weather, our tour of Empire Mine, visiting GV and NV City, and our time at the Tulip Festival. This home was perfect for the 5 of us and we hope to return soon. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!
