Very cozy cabin very close to the lake. Perfect quiet getaway

Loved staying in Grass Valley and just being amidst the pines. Very quiet neighborhood. Space was clean. Host was attentive when we mentioned an issue with the dishwasher. Hot tub was a nice add!

House was very cozy and comfortable. Nicole and Cam were very responsive and checked in periodically to make sure everything was good.

Absolutely loved staying at Dave's place. We only stayed one night but it was cozy and exactly what we needed. Dave was super clear about literally everything, and easy to reach when we had a question about the heat. I would book this location again, especially for a weekend at Northstar. thanks Dave!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tahoe City. Our accommodations felt like a home away from home, so we were able to enjoy some family time away. It felt safe and secure. The kids found the games late during our stay, and want to come back to enjoy them and the home.

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. We had a great stay at Marci’s house. Everything was as described. The location is great-so close to the lake & a short drive to Truckee, North Star etc. The beds were comfy & all appliances were very new. The big back yard was great & we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The only negative is the hot tub is in the backyard so a bit of a walk through the snow to get to it in the winter. Not a deal breaker but just something to note. Would stay again.

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

This home was such a great place for our family (with two young kids) to stay. The yard is so beautiful and peaceful, the home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home, though it was also quite walkable into town. Really the pictures don’t do it justice! We’ll definitely stay here again! Also Bob and Ann were super responsive if anything came up… thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hart House. The craftsmanship of the home is truly spectacular and we felt so comfortable there. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make delicious meals. We enjoyed the outdoor space and soaking in the hot tub. Truly a special gem of a home. Thank you for everything! This was my 3rd time at this cabin. I’ve stayed here solo and with family. Every time I wish I’d booked a longer stay. The cabin is well off the main road so it’s very peaceful and secluded. The house is always clean and comfortable but I spend most of my time at the pond. I’ve caught small fish but last time saw a HUGE bass! Spent hours trying to catch it with no luck, but there are definitely big fish in there. I also saw other wild life including an otter. Even being secluded, the cabin is short drive to Nevada city and Grass Valley in case you want to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon.

Hollie's place was so beautiful and peaceful. Lots of chirping frogs and crickets at night. The house has all of the usual comforts and amenities. The road getting in is definitely a country road, so better to have an AWD or something with enough bottom clearance (we were silly and rode in with a lowered Miata -- still made it just fine, but don't recommend lol).

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. I really enjoyed the openness of the living room and kitchen area. I also really enjoyed the patio and the hot tub. I really liked the comforter set I got to sleep with. Overall It was a great place to stay! I highly recommend it!

This villa is in the heart of the foothills surrounded by nature. Its deck is perfect to take in the views, the home is beautiful and plenty of space for several guest. Host description of beds/rooms is accurate. We loved the little theater in back, asked for karaoke but didn’t have a chance to use but LOVED this option. Host is very responsive, willing to work out any issue or concern. If you’re looking for a large family or friend gathering in a quiet peaceful nature setting this is the place!! Warning you lose cell service before arriving at home, WiFi was great very fast just be aware to load address ahead of time and use internet for calls.
