This is a comfortable, spacious and private cottage. I was able to relax, cook dinner, and sleep well. The decor is beautiful and there was a sweet little seasonal bouquet in a vase on the dining table to welcome me when I arrived. Hosts are responsive, accommodating and friendly. The WiFi was fast and reliable which was important for my work trip!

I loved staying here. Host was friendly and VERY responsive. Home was cozy and comfortable. The bed felt like heaven. Kitchen had everything I needed. Very peaceful stay.

Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.

My wife and I had a gat stay. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked as well as bathroom supplies. I would.definitely stay there again.

I loved staying at Kathryn’s place. Quiet location with peaceful surroundings. Loved the deck out back. My 6 y/o loved listening to the frogs out by the pond at night. Location was perfect. A short drive to Nevada City or downtown Grass Valley. Colfax is close too. Will definitely stay again!

Great stay! Perfect for a weekend in the mountains skiing. Jon and O'Mailley were amazing hosts and very helpful. The place itself was very well maintained, relatively new, and super clean! Overall was very well accommodated ad would highly recommend. Only thing to note for other guests is to bring slippers; we actually prefer the concrete and tile floors (helps keep the place clean) but does get a little cold. Otherwise hope to book again next time!

Sarina and Ed’s place is a great home base to explore the west shore of Lake Tahoe. The backyard space for the dogs was clutch, and Sarina even provided an extra kennel for us. The bed was comfy and we felt at home!

Hosts were very responsive, thoughtful, non-intrusive but immediately accessible, and accommodated a last minute request to stay. The place was exactly as described: beautiful, private, and had everything one could need. It is located in a wooded area but close to downtown. Some essential shops within walking distance, and downtown Truckee a 5 minute drive or bike ride away. It is a full, beautiful, one bedroom apartment separated on property from the main house: upstairs, above independent garage unit, complete stocked kitchen, garage space available (if needed), great full bathroom, living room, beautiful deck, hot tub, close to town, grocery, restaurants, etc. The location is central to everything one could hope for: athletically (skiing, hiking, biking); socially (close to great downtown restaurants, grocery, local hangouts, shopping). It is clean, well equipped, and VERY comfortable. I cannot imagine guests being anything but comfortable & happy here.

I really like this place. It’s so nice—private and peaceful. I recommend it if you enjoy nature and the forest. The birds sing beautifully here, especially in the morning. As for the hosts, they are very nice, polite, and open to any questions or concerns.

Very simple but well furnished place. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Grass Valley and Nevada City have a small town feel with unlimited hiking and outdoor activities.

I came to this place leaving a toxic relationship. And I just recently achieved 30 days sobriety. I tell you just because maybe someone out there is like me and needs some help. Once I walked into the room, I was just checking back by how peaceful it was and the vibration was all about healing. Joy was nothing short of amazing as far as communication. It turns out she’s a holistic therapist as well. Her husband was a cool guy and her son was friendly too. And their dog is rad just a cool dog and my dog Scarlet and he played together for a little bit and it was cool. I really needed this place and I look forward to staying here again when I need to just go somewhere decompress I would recommend a spot to anybody. And if you like books, there’s so many books to read I mean it’s awesome and I’ve been a great job of building out the room to look amazing and feel amazing. Don’t hesitate to grab this up if you need to.

Needed a place in familiar neighborhood, close to town but quieter. Jessica’s place had it. Tranquil room and furnishings decluttered my mind. Very modern with all necessities I needed. Comfortable bed, couch and spacious. I usually watch TV but I enjoyed the quiet a lot. Enjoyed taking daily walks too. Thanks Jessica. Would definitely stay again.

Such a cool place and Chris sent a lot of great local recommendations that were really helpful. The unit itself is above the main home yet feels very private. Great vibe and lots of interesting and handy details. Had everything we needed and more.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming mountain Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the cozy cabin felt like a home away from home. A peaceful spot with breathtaking views, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Sean the host is very chill, friendly, and down-to-earth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Along side with his friendly dogs. The mountain views were breathtaking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to unwind. I can’t wait to come back!

Lorrie’s place exceeded all of our expectations! It was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and every detail was clearly thought out with the guests in mind. Well that was just a delight! I loved staying here with my son, and hope to return with the whole family. Incredible location just a couple blocks from “downtown” Nevada City, but so private and serene. Great layout with a spacious living room/kitchen with gorgeous light from the skylights and then a good sized bedroom with king bed. My tween son loved the bunk beds in the large walk in closet, felt cozy and cool. Tracey was a lovely host and was responsive to all my questions.

Nick and Tina were very communicative and accommodating hosts. The place was cozy, clean, and in a great location near Palisades.

Great cottage for a peaceful vacation. It is right in the middle of the natur. Cottage itself was nice and cozy with all the basic amenities, me and my family really enjoyed it. Heidi was communicative throughout the stay. We will definitely visit again in the summer

Errol’s place is surrounded by beautiful woods and is nice and quiet. We enjoyed being able to have a peaceful place to come back to after a long day on the mountain.

I had a great stay and hope to stay at this AirBnB again in the future. I loved the beautiful trees on the property and listening to bird song. The place was very clean and comfortable.

Barbara was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The place was very pretty and comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a nice little table to eat on the porch overlooking the trees. It was a quiet and peaceful place.
