Situated in the heart of North Devon with easy access to the towns Barnstaple, Bideford & Torrington, & Devons best beaches close by incl Westward Ho, Saunton, Croyde & Woolacombe.

The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Originally a threshing barn, but recently converted by the owners into a modern space which respectfully retains the character and proportions of the original barn. The eclectic mix of quirky, vintage objects and art give the Barn its unique character. A perfect hideaway for couples looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

The Old Rainbow Confectionery

In the former FJG Rainbow Confectioners, The Old Confectionery is located in the charming historic Street of Pilton, North Devon. It is a convenient 9-minute walk from Barnstaple town centre and a 15 minute walk to North Devon District Hospital.
