Huisjes in Niagara River

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

An amazing little cottage with a great view of the lake. This house is perfect for a couples weekend getaway. The fireplace is a rustic little touch that warms the living room and gives a cozy atmosphere.

We were beyond impressed with the host and cottage! It is a private space just close enough to Niagara Falls!

We just returned from a perfect spring break getaway in Derby, NY, just outside of Hamburg, and we’re already missing it! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, with partial views of the lake that made sunrises and sunsets feel extra special. The hot tub was definitely a highlight—so relaxing and totally worth it! We were also so grateful that our dog Frankie was welcomed. The fenced-in yard gave him the freedom to roam, sniff, and unwind right alongside us. Our daughters loved having their own bedrooms (and their own TVs!), and the streaming subscriptions included were a great touch for cozy evenings in. The home was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully stocked, and we felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Truly wonderful superhosts—thank you for sharing your space with us! We’d love to come back!

My family and I had the absolute most wonderful weekend here!! Victoria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ice fished and cooked on the grill and relaxed in the hot tub. ❤️ it was absolutely wonderful!

Alissa and Jeff were great hosts and their home was a reflection of that. It matched the description, photos, and location shown on the listing. Alissa was very responsive and went above and beyond to help me plan a surprise for my wife. Cannot overstate enough how helpful and responsive she was. The house was very clean and we felt right at home. The kitchen and amenities worked perfectly for all the use we gave them. Hot tub worked and was clean. Loved the short walk to the water and the view of the lake from the living room! Any negative comments were really just nitpicks at this point and not worth bringing up. 5/5, would definitely stay here again!

This is an quaint older little place on a very large serene and beautiful easy-to-navigate property with so much character. The home itself was very clean, incredibly well-stocked, tastefully decorated and furnished, and felt like home. The owners or management were available by message if I needed anything but give you space to enjoy your stay which I greatly appreciated. The location was incredibly convenient and easy to find. My dogs loved being walked on such a huge parcel of land and I loved being able to walk out the door and have so much yard to enjoy with them! I hope to stay here again sometime!

We had an amazing stay at Leah and Ben’s cozy cottage! The secluded location was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions like Niagara Falls, Lewiston, and Youngstown. The cottage was adorable—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed with a great open concept. We especially loved the lake view, sun porch, and comfy bed. Leah and Ben were wonderful hosts and very responsive. We had such a positive experience and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we could ever ask for for a 3 day fishing escape. Neat and comfortable rooms and living space, a great outdoor deck space, combined with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Made our fishing trip more memorable!

We had an amazing stay and cannot wait to go back! My husband, I and our 2.5 year old fell in love with Anne-Marie's place and all of us were sad to leave. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, with all of the amenities you need. It is a very short walk to the beautiful white sand beach and to lots of restaurants, cafes, ice cream and little shops. We also loved that her place is dog-friendly so our old chocolate lab was also able to enjoy the vacation with us. We walked down to the beach each day (it's so awesome that beach passes are included as well), had so much fun playing in the sand and swimming in the warm, clear water that you can walk out far in. We also tried some of the local restaurants and enjoyed all of our meals. And of course, when in a beach town, you have to eat ice cream! We were there on a Thursday so also enjoyed the weekly food-truck festival with live music. Such a beautiful outdoor setting. We will be back next year!

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved the house and it would be great to return. We decided to visit Niagara falls in the winter, it was our first time in the area. I wasn't expecting much of our stay, but it turned out to be a beautiful romantic weekend. The house is right by the lake and has a gorgeous view. You can tell that it was build to be actually used by the hosts and not just a rental property, it is very well-made, cosy, with a lot of nice details and a fully equipped kitchen. We had an great time having breakfast and looking at the lake Ontario. 100% would recommend to stay there!

Our stay was great! We were just passing through but it had everything we needed to be comfortable, plus more! The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean and easy to find. We would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying, and we will definitely be back. Brian is a wonderful, responsive host. He was very helpful with shoveling when we got stuck in a snow bank due to an unexpected storm. He was kind enough to gift us a bottle of wine, for all the struggles of our weekend. There were some snacks, and bottles of water for us to enjoy.

Great place for a family getaway, with a splendid tranquil environment. Not far away from basic amenities, with a public park within 5 min of walking distance having tennis, pickleball, volleyball and horse riding facilities. A bee farm is also walking distance, where one can get delicious organic honey. The house is quite spacious with numerous patios and sitting areas with spectacular views to suit individuals’ tastes. Restaurants and market place is 20 min drive, and Niagara falls a 30 min drive. The host Teri, was quite friendly and accommodating.

Very cute and cozy cottage right near the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cottage was very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was great with the beach just a short walk up and across the road. We loved walking up and down the beach and went a few times a day — our golden retriever was in heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to get away from the noise of the city for a few days.

We stay for a little over a week over the thanksgiving weekend. The place was amazing and so perfect for our family. The house was amazing and updated. The bathroom tub was my favourite place. Our evening walks were fantastic. Would 100% book again

Great host, maybe the best. Very good response time, very clear instructions and helpful in every situation. Photos do not do this place justice because when I got there I was still surprised about how beautiful the home really was. Very clean and spotless kitchen with all the amenities needed. Huge back yard with privacy from every angle. We even saw some wildlife in the woods when we were quiet enough. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Bob’s place was comfortable, clean and included all the basics. The fact that it came with a golf cart & was located across from the Gelato shop was a bonus. My 10 year old fit in the nook with the twin bed but it may be a hard squeeze for an older teen/adult. The Sherkston beach areas were great during the week but got pretty crowded on a Saturday. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

We had a great family stay at PJ’s place! We were doing some renovations and needed an extended stay and PJ was so accommodating. The backyard leads to amazing trails!
