I consider myself happy that I booked and stayed at the Artist's Retreat! Alex and Colin, were amazing hosts! They were friendly, extremely helpful and really made me feel safe and right at home. Their place is gorgeous, clean and bright. The sunroom/greenhouse is an elegant and cozy area where I spent hours reading or just watching the wildlife moving outside the glass. There is also the amazing view of the lake right from your window. Although extremely busy, Alex took time to show me around and even prepared and served some amazing herbal teas. I highly recommend Artist's Retreat and I am definitely returning for a longer stay.

Beautiful property. Lovely fire pit and ravine. So many lightening bugs. Lovely beach five minutes’ walk away. Awesome restaurant on premises. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Wi-fi didn’t work in the room but who needs a phone when you’re surrounded by nature! Would definitely stay again.

It was our first time bringing our 9 month old pup on an overnight trip and we stayed in the Vittoria Room. Such a charming little inn! Instructions were clear and everything was as described. Clean room and has all the necessities. The best part is probably the location - 5 minute walking distance to a small beach, close to all the parks and wineries, and there’s a cute ice cream shop and an awesome Mexican resto in the property. They even have live music on Saturday nights. You can’t ask for more! There’s also a huge open space at the back facing a creek which our dog loved. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

A lovely B and B with a warm and welcoming host! Carol does a great job of making you feel at home. Carol serves a very tasty breakfast. A lovely house right next to the water so those who bird can go right out the front door to sit on the bluff to see what is wading along the shore or swimming in the shallows. 'Downtown' Port Rowan is a few minutes by car down the road. A good jumping off point for birding at Long Point.

What a memorable experience at the Clonmel castle, best way to kick off the new year! Not only was the castle beautiful, full of antiques and gorgeous decor but the grounds were stunning and it was so fun exploring the waterfall and very old cemetery. Service was great and food was impeccable! Never served without a smile. Felt right at home! 10/10 would recommend this and hope to do it again next year :)

This has bee one of the best experiences we have had so far. We were received with wine courtesy of Lynda. Start the day with a great delicious breakfast is unbeatable. Lynda did everything possible to ensure we had everything we needed. We will comeback, that’s for sure.

Wow! The landscape on this property was Devine and massive! Not everything was in bloom yet and the pool wasn’t open either bc of the season, so we hope to return to see this property in full bloom and enjoy the pool. The main house is fairly close to the air bnb unit and pool, that is not described or pictured in the listing. There was also a lot of foot traffic from the owners walking back and forth enjoying their own home, and working. I don’t think this was a bother but I do feel it is not as secluded as it appears. There were soooo many snacks available in the kitchen chips, granola bars, nuts, candy, local eggs, muffins, bread, pop, juice, water etc etc! All in all it was a tremendous evening full of fun and relaxation! Thanks for having us! We hope to see you again in late summer!
